A while back I posted a topic on mail fraud charges against Fiero1969:

https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Archives/Archive-000002/HTML/20050119-1-043772.html

Well, the charges are going forward slowly but surely (just filed some more paperwork this week). But I just received word today that Fiero1969 is in state prison on other charges and also that he has recently lost some civil cases amounting to over $10K. Because of this, the authorities aren't exactly rushing to move forward with the other charges.

So, it doesn't look like any of us will see our parts or refunds, but this does give some closure. Sorry for the bad news.

Well, this is the guy I was dealing with in Greenbay.... I have his wife's mother's phone number if that would help you. I have basically lost my entire car, engine & all due to this same situation. Now I have two weeks to pick my baby up in greenbay or his landlord will tow it, which would mean dragging it somewhere because this #*$%&%* took the rear suspension apart before he stopped contacting me.

Never got the swap completed, actually I'm really out of luck right now as he decided to stop with the engine out & rear suspension apart (wheels off, etc). That makes it impossible to tow, or for myself to even put back together. I'm trying to find a mechanic to at least help me get it on its wheels again so I can tow it or something.

I can't believe I fell for something this stupid, but live and learn I suppose

Really sorry to hear that. Live and learn? I lost $600 to some ******* out on ebay. Sent him a MO for stereo equipment, never recieved product. Wouldn't respond to emails, tried calling him 29873492 times never answered until once in which he abruptly hung up on me when I started asking questions. Finally got an email saying "we were broken into and are resorting our inventory, will get back to you soon" and thats it.... Never again MO on ebay.... ever...
