Could this be why the forum was down today? I can't believe someone would hate this forum that much to do what Cliff said they did. If it is true it is a criminal act and should be prosecuted. Im sorry that this is costing Cliff money and aggravation. Those who haven't donated recently should think about doing so. We should all band together to help Cliff at this time or risk losing this forum forever. I really hope it wasn't one of the PSF members. This would be a new low for even them and it would be going over the line. I just hope that if it was one of them they should realize that their forum will not exist without this one, who else would they hate or talk about then?

That was just poor unimaginative bastards who wanted to steal my work and call it their own. The way I look at it, it's good news that they "comprimised" the server. Look at the server logs, shut down whatever got them in. It's not a big thing.
If the forum goes down, and stays down, it won't hurt anyone for very long. Personally I think this is an excuse, but it doesn't matter. If Cliff no longer wants to run a forum, that is his choice.
It may even be a positive thing in the end. I get a really creepy "big brother" feeling about this place. I have no idea who cliff is. Does he even own a fiero, cause I have never seen one. One guy nobody knows controlling everything. There's a word for that. Fascism. How many of you can say for certain that nobody ever got banned without a tweak here and there to their ratings bar?
I've seen more than one thread closed for no good reason, other than it somehow offended Cliff.

I had you rated negative too, but that was for claiming an impossible skid pad G, and waving your Shelby crackerjack prize form letter around all the time. You bought a V8 car, painted it yellow, and paid someone to put a different V8 in it. Not sure where you get off acting like you know anything.

This is where I found out about WCF, Darrell Morse and many others that offered fiero services. Yeah sure we could go find another forum, but all and all you know it won't really be the same. I'm sure the other forum if it did happen wouldn't have as many people either.

Azriel.....don't start that kind of **** . I've been on forums WAY more censored and controlled than this one, some with like 5+ Admins all biased 1 way and would ban you for no reason. At least we have some sort of free speech here, and Cliff seems to be a very nice neutral guy. BTW he does own a Fiero, I've seen it before, but I don't keep a bookmark on it. How would you run the forum? Appoint several minions with their own opinions on everything so they can screw everything up?

Cliff HAS posted pics of himself, his lovely wife, and very cute kid. he also posted pics of his car. What is he controlling? A forum. It was just easier for him to not have to deal with a bunch of moderators, at the time, it was a small forum, easy to police. The ratings bars could be tweaked, but I REALLY don't think Cliff gets his kicks by doing so. I don't mind Cliff's "Fascist FieroForum". He's bonked me on the noggin when I was a complete dumba$$ once or twice, and I don't mind a bit. And if he deems a thread closeworthy, So BE IT. I virtually stand be hind the man. I appreciate him for what he has created, and the hard work involved.

No flames, But you really have no clue about this forum. I have met many of the members here in person and had many Emails to others (like Cliff). Many members attend shows even in other states and countries and most have met thru this forum. It's not "Fascism" it is a place to share similar intrests hosted by someone who actually cares. The people who have gotten banned did so by deliberatly pissing off enough people to get a lot of negative ratings. Some of them are very smart people, but that's not the issue. They were voted off because of their behavior and more importantly, their complete and fundamental lack of respect for the others who also participate in this forum. I don't know about you, but if someone comes into my home and start cursing me and my family, breaking things, and acting like complete azzholes they're going to be asked to leave, and if they don't leave they'll be forcibly removed.
I've been to the other forum, where every third workd is f*ck and the main topic of discussion is attacking people and threads here at PFF. Ultimately what counts is actions, and one or more members of the other forum have chosen to break federal and international laws by attacking this forum, where almost nobody even talks about the other forum. The people on the other forum have demonstrated that complaining and ridiculing wasn't enough, and they may have succeeded in costing someone their business as well as bringing down a positive and polite forum that has helped thousands of people in a professional atmosphere.
If Pennock's goes down, it will be because of the actions of a bunch of loser prickz who, regardless of how smart and experienced and knowledgable they are, are still a bunch of immature children more interested in vandalism than anything else.
You should really take some time and think about what you are supporting. To think that this is a forum where a half dozen people can get you kicked is utter nonsense. You don't really think that do you? What amazes me is when there are a few simple rules in place a whole bunch of people react as if it were violating their rights. You know what, the actions and behavior of a number of those people who have been banned is what got them banned. It was their choice and they are responsible for their childishness. We are all part of a large society full of rules and regulations that are in place for our protection. People cannot act however they want especially if it affects others. No one has the right to abuse another and that is what has been going on. These people have nothing better to do than sit at home and attack others, spew garbage and complain about Cliff. Well if that is how you feel, then by all means leave. This forum is very forgiving, there are all kinds of forums where if you post in the wrong section, for example, you get one warning, the next is a temp ban and the third time is a permanent ban. If you want to be a member then play by the rules, it's quite simple really. The bottom line is that it's Cliff's forum, not yours and not mine. He can do whatever he wants, it's his house. For those who can't play by the rules then I say goodbye, perhaps your parents should have taught you their value.

Smartest people get tossed? I'll admit a few of them have extensive mechanical knowledge, But they are far from being the "smartest people". They didn't get banned by saying the wrong thing to the wrong person, They got banned because they lack common sense/maturity.
