I really wanted to make the trip too. My clutch went out about a month ago. I ordered the new one about two and a half weeks ago and had planned on having it replaced last weekend so I could make Daytona... the clutch did not arrive in time... I will just have to admire pictures from the net... I am getting the clutch done today.

I didnt get buy one of his hoods but if the money comes around I will it is a nice part for the price. Nice talking to you CoolBlue as always. Finaly get to put a face on Phil after talking to him in chat all the time. Traffic was bad, We left at 10:00 this morning from Lakeland and didnt get home till 6:00 and probably stayed at the show for an hour and half. Next year I think we will be staying over the weekend.

And would this be the "Mistress" thats taken my car's namesake? (on the left)
No, This was a nice family from Port Charlotte, FL. The dad & son are working on two Fiero projects that will be entered in next years show.
They asked my not to say anything about the project cars, but from what I've seen, what a neat design they've come up with, I can't wait for next years show !!

I 'm not sure what it's for but I chatted with her for a bit, she seemed really interested in fieros in particular, I kinda got the feeling I was being interviewed. I would lean towards a local TV station if I had ta guess. BTW the show was amazing and I have some pics going up here prolly tomorrow.

I think they were doing interviews and documenting everything at this year's show for the DVD they were selling. They had a tent setup near the food area where you could order it in advance and they'd have it ready by the end of the show or ship it to you. They might have an update on the Daytona website with more information on how to get one. That would be my take on it, since usually local news crew cameras usually have the logo/channel number of the station on them and this one didn't. Good to see that the fieros were getting equal time.
