After painting two of my GT diamond spoke wheels satin black (not gloss) I was surfing the PFF board and saw a pic of a white GT with white painted centers. (but it was kind of a side angle shot) They looked pretty darn good....(never thought white on white would look that good!)
Even though Iv'e already painted 2 of the 4 wheels black, I am now thinking about painting them all gloss white in the centers. Ya, I know white will be hard to keep clean but the LOOK will be worth it. Does anyone have a few good pics of white painted GT wheels?
FieroMonkey....your rims look great! Ya, I agree..the white is a much better choice. You've convinced me to paint them white. By the way, what kind of white did you use? (bright white/polar white/appliance white) I was thinking about using Krylon rattle cans. (low buck approach)
Thanks and a plus for ya..Kit (86 GT)

I had heard that white rims were an option on white 88 GT's. What is the story on that?
Not that I've ever heard of... white wheels were only ever an option on the '84 Indy models. The GTs were always sold with gray wheels until '88 when they added Black & Gold.

thanks for the compliment! My rims were professionally done with the correct paint code for the cars body and clear coated.
