Distributor from early 88 olds (Junk Yard) $25.00
Dist. from 4.1 cady.(only if you are doing a 4.9) $25.00
You will also have to do minor fab work to the intake manifold.

This pic shows the smal filter that I used for the crank case breather. This is the tube that taps into your stock intake tube.

gm did a recall regarding that pipe that you put the crank case breather on. aparently it would fill the air box with some oily sludg!
have you knoticed any problems like that?
it should be venting right befor the throttle body.

some people never had the recal work done... like the update to 87+ exhaust manifolds... i doubt that 15% of fieros have that recal.

when doing a carb swap you can use the intank fuel pump from an 83 84 pontiac j2000 as it desined for a carb and will eliminate the need for a regulator as it is built into the pump and it will only produce 7 psi but puts out great flow

I wish I had known before droping the tank and installing the 4 banger pump. I will remember this for the future when I want to clean up the engine bay a little. THANKS

Just an Update to keep this out of the archive.

The swap has been compleated only to find that there is a bad head gasket and it is leeking compression into the cooling system. Just my luck.

how do you tell whether the recal for the exhaust has ben done on a car? ive got an 88 formula

Here is a pic fror you all. Head gasket swap went well, but we ran out of daylight. Just need a few more things conected and she will be ready to crank up. I'll update more later.

I brought the car home yesterday. It runs good except for a shift problem I am having.

The car sounds great. Loud but great. I am running mandrel bent, true dual exhaust with bottle mufflers. I need to do some cleaning then I will post some final pics.

gun- metal and now I am trying to match the paint. I like the rear

Last i saw (verry recently) Black Azz GT was posting on that other forum as Gun Metal GT.
