I have definately thought about it, I even drive down NASA road to get from Hitchcock near 45 to 146 and up toward the refineries in LaPorte all the time. I am usually on a very tight timeline on the road and have to get back to handle the paperwork on the weekends. One of these days I will get in contact with you and check out the choptop. I have seen your T-Top up close and am very impressed with it. It seems like every time I see it, it just gets better and better.

Let me know maybe one of these times when you have a spare hour we can hook up. I can show you my "field of dreams" where I keep all my future projects. My goal this year is to finish the interior on the t-top. It's been in work for three years so I think it should be time to move onto something else.

Just an update on the Chop Top T-top project.

It has a new home:

It's going to be a lot of work but I couldn't let the thing be cut up and parted out. It will be finished

Good luck with the project Jscott. I know a lot of t-top owners will be watching this one closely.

Heya Jon...

Glad to see this car and project is staying in Texas. You keep this up and you're going to go broke buying "PROUD X" series personalized plates

Good luck Jonathan,

I am sad to see the project go, but I know it is in good hands. Can't wait to see it completed.

Thanks Exoticse, I'm going to need all the encouragement I can get.

Zero 260 - a convertible would complete my collection.. hmmmm

Blake - yeah it torques me off to pay the $40 per car per year to the state for no value added. The Proud-X series may end at 2

Will - big thanks for thinking about me as the successor to this one of a kind project. And I never would have the courage or skills to do the welding.

a bump in the night. This one will be dormant for a while as Jscott works on his many other projects, but at least this will keep the thread afloat for a while for others to see.

Thanks for the bump Gofast250

As Exoticse states this is my #4 project, so it's on the back burner....

But I hope that the work that F355spider is doing will pave the way for custom glass for this car...it's going to need it.

Although one statement I made earlier is not true...the Indy has claimed the it's new title:

Guess what the chop t-top will be called?
