Ran the carb and Nos motor for over a year in another car with good results only pistons were changed for the nitrous after blowing a hole in 2 pistons with a 125 shot, the carb is used for regular driving and the injectors are fed from a "Y" fitting wherte the nitrous and gas is mixed and jetted then goes to the injector, hence trhe term" POD" power on demand.
The turbos will bolt on to the trunkside exhaust manifold then the two outlets will come together as one in a 3" inlet and fed into the carb through this http://www.superiorairflow.com/extreme_velocity.htm that has already been modified with nitrophyl floats for boost,a commom problem is the copper floats collapsing since they are hollow .
The weak link is the tranny so if you dump the clutch at 4000rpm you can expect any thing to happen but from a 40-45 mph roll it should be fine and I hope that clears up every thing that the motor would not be a NA motor and yes a lot of internal work have been just don't have time to go into every details but in the meantime the fabrication and plumbing has started and I will post pics .... the only thing I hate is to cut out the trunk
The good thing about this set up is power is switchable The turbos will work all the times but the nitrous is switchable and will arm it only when needed.

Tony you are up very late every night you owl ,but every thing is still on track if this rain would just stop falling oooh I am hating it but your project will get rolling this coming week as for my car the plumbing for the turbos are still at the machine shop so in the mean time all I could do is finish putting the motor together and make a few changes to the auxillary guage pod by converting it to use three autometer 2 1/16"carbon fiber guages to replace the oil pressure ,voltmeter and add a white (stand out )nitrous pressure one to the all black interior....remember when the Infinity Q45 just came out the selling point was the white stand out clock in the center of the dash that should look good .
Because the turbos were a little on the heavy side I have to use support brackets to hold them as the exhaust manifold would possibly break or crack also the lower trunk will have to be removed but that will be done when the motor is going in but here are some pics before the camera took the dive :

Among things left to be done is to order a fiberglass headliner board to replace the current one as it is all broken up an not fitting properly also my wheel options are a problem but I found some 19" rims from a 2003 Mercedes coupe that are 9" wide in the rear and 8 " in the front that a friend has for sale at a good price $1600 with 3 good tires the other (drive wheel is bald ) the original set is $3200 the bolt pattern is 5x112 so I will have to use adaptors ($180) so I am lookig into it but that is all for now ...... later .

When will it end?????? gosh just can't spending money but too late to turn back now I am in it for the long haul ,after a search I finally decided on my wheel combination that I found at a local shop that was looking out for me and here is it .

the combo is 18" with a 2.5" lip in the rear and 9.5 wide and the fronts are 8" wide with a 1" lip as for tires it is till a toss up and I am planning 235x45x18 front and 285x35x18 in the rear .

Got the turbos back from the shop after being rebuilt and new supporting brackets made to hold them in place (kinda heavy) as the intake alone would not support them also the twin turbo hat is here and a second Blitz BOV

The turbos are from a Mark IV Toyota Supra and they are quick spooling with virtually no lag and will start spooling at 2500rpm to about 5000rpm so there will be power right across the power band and the nitrous is not even activated that will be a decision I make when to use it but it will be my ace in the bag for unsuspecting challengers.

The center auxillary panel I have decided to remove the two guages and add three 2 "guages

so that is where it now stands except I have decided to also replace the sub woofer console as the sub woofer was baffling out at certain low frequencies because the lack of air space so I built one to replace it and the difference is like night and day with the 10" Kicker Solobaric woofer, it is going to the shop this week to be covered in black leather....stay tuned .

Will it be ready for the run for the Keys? Those rims look great. They come in a nice gold tone too. I seriously considered them when I was looking but I didn't like the 35mm offset with 8" width for the front

To bad that TT hat is a joke. You should send it back and request one that would actually not be an air leak. I wouldn't give more than $25 for that thing cause it still needs work to get it to not leak. Geez Diamond plate on the Top???? WTF that's the dumbest idea now that your rubber washer is going to rid on an uneven surface and grinding it down will mess up the look so what to do what to do.

Thanks for your constructive criticism yes it is not the ideal piece but at least it is something to work with as a base line ,it came with the sealing gasket for the bottom and the diamond plates those I am going to machine flat then chrome it over there is also a gasket for the top to seal the screw hole .

I was planning to make a hat but this came available and the price was right and at least it has the two inlets for the turbos instead of one but I will see how it works out during final tuning . .

Well since you are doing something about the diamonds then great deal it should work. The screwhole and the base will be your weakest points on holding pressure so watch them carefully.

Well here we go again another week after the family went on vacation my son to Washington DC and wife and daughter to Savannah Georgia they thoroughly enjoyed themselves I was happy just for the peace and quiteness unfortunately they are back but they are my prized posessions in life .

I see StuartLowery got the boots ......... hmmmmm that hypocrite trying to hijack my computer but I never use the same passwords on places like your forum and others any how here is the turbo hat with the sealing rubber ....simple slit a vacuum hose down the middle then install it the top I machined and even has a Chevy wing nut to seal it from leaking ............... .

Earl is also going turbo intercooled on the 4.9 and Kento car is running great and Exoticse is now in the mix getting ready for Daytona 2006 can't talk now .

I did some reading this week on the internet and people that I have no Idea what my set up is about ,how it will work yet they are predicting what will and won't happen and here are a few .

The turbos will not work together but against each other ....hmmmm don't need any advice.
The injectors will not open with 6psi on them .........hmmmmm have a inline injection pump that pushes up to 60 psi regulated at 49psi.
My cylinder head gasket will blow out ......so what I am using Victor Reinz head gaskets not Felpro.
My car has so much Bondo that it won't move ...this all goes to show how stupid certain people are instead they talk all kind of crap but with all that my project keeps moving on .I have even been accused of posting pics....... at least the pic will give some ideas to others to make their car a little special instead of the same old Fiero.

I chose to make my car a one of a kind with a lot of new innovations from todays sport cars and I can't see why it should bother others if I do how much I spend or what , I am doing a complete resto and modification replacing all old wiring and relays wornout 20 year old parts with new and modern and the cost is not an issue at this point.I know in the end my car will be fast ,reliable and comfortable and something to be proud of so all my detractors just keep on reading and viewing the pics cause your input means nothing or just skip over the post and this is not about what you think I should do or what will work ............it is my car plain and simple so troll else where if you respond I will not even reply you know who you are .

People should not hate or berate someone for how they choose to customize their cars it is a personal thing but then again maybe jealousy and hate consume their lives seeing others try to do good .

stainless muffler tips

new guages guage have been mounted voltage and oil pressure and nitrous pressure also new molded black carpet and the black switch below the trunk switch is now my start button .I am contemplating using a water injection system in place of the intercooler but for now I am leaving that option open.
Now that the instrumentation is done the interior is finished and the next step is to mount the engine , the turbos have been mounted and the two oil return lines have been plummed to the oil pan also new engine mounts and stabilizer bar added to steady the engine in light of the new power level that is expected.
So far every thing is on track and will keep adding more as progress is made .

Yeah curly i was hoping MTA was going to at least test fit those bad boys so we could drool over them, but i believe he is waiting tilll he gets finished with everything else as not to scratch them up, also right now space is a premium at his place as he has a few projects he is working on.

Well after two weeks and more life is coming back to normal around here and I am back on line but the work continues as we suffered interior damages and roof also 2 totaled vehicles but it could have been worse and my heart goes out to all those in the hard hit areas and in my small way I have made a financial contribution and a donation to the cause.

The hurricane was like a freight train passing through destroying every thing in sight sent things flying in all direction and really caught us off guard and dumped 13.5 inches of rain in a 6 hours period in my area, water started to come in at 3 am and at 5 am it was knee deep inside but we were safe as a family. The furniture and contents of the house was declared a total loss also our two minivans so although this has been a humbling experience again for me after (Andrew ) so I will have to just brush my self off and start all over again.

The "King of the Hill "was flooded on the interior up to the shifter console the radio was fine ,the amplifiers were wet but has since powered up after drying out and the electrical is okay just have to replace the carpet again since it was recently replaced but this is just a minor bump in the road and the project goes on fortunately the motor was still out and not affected . Here are some pics.

Luckily I had flood insurance with some technicality clause that will cover all repairs and the vehicles will be replaced but I have to give thanks to the big man upstairs for sparing me and my family through this ordeal and it could have been worse but there is a light shining at the end of the tunnel.

At least you had insurance that will pay out. Looks like it is time to go shopping for a bunch of new stuff. Congratulations on you and the family surviving that nightmare. I have never had to live in an area that flooded and I have only ever seen flooding like that once in my entire life in person. It is simply awe inspiring the power that mother nature and water combined can have.

Once again, glad you and the family made it out ok.

Holy crap Lucky your engine was on a wagon That's why I know it did not get touched..... If the engine was installed it might of got wet inside.

You lucked out with flood insurance !!!
