Our block of reserved rooms at the hotel expires June 1. Outside of that block, the hotel is SOLD OUT for the weekend. If you don't make your reservation by June 1, it is highly unlikely that you'll get a room in Truckee that weekend. Please make your reservation ASAP, as in today or tomorrow.
Goobs and Mrs. Goobs, tennessee, chris, mad dog and anthony and the margaritas machine.
What the hell this thread is on page four. The event is only a month and a half away. And where the heck is spddy with the count down?? And why do I have so many damned questions and who is going to answer them?
Dude.. I TOTALLY forgot about this event! Ha ha.. Haven't had a chance to do jack crap anymore with the new job promo and stuff... Well, I would love to come up there and bring the Marg Machine, assuming that Chris & them can arrainge that! However, Is this an actual happening event? From what I have been hearing, one day it is, the next day it's not. And with the price of fuel, hotel, etc., I don't wanna come up there if it's going to be 5 cars or 10 cars, if you know what I mean... Don't get me wrong, everyone is totally kewl to hang out with, but its gotta be worth it nowadays with the price of everything!
Let me know... If it helps, fierobear, I still have the fieroprereg@yahoo.com email address going for the event calendar. If you want, why don't we have people email there that they are going with how many, and I will filter the email rules to you, so that I don't have to go through the 50+ emails a day manually!
Well all, lets see... whose going.. I'm off and emailing myself!

------------------ "Real American Heroes - Today we solute you, Mr. Ford Truck Towing A Fiero Guy. When most people don't even know what a Fiero is, let alone just where the motor is, you seem to somehow fit right in. You see the looks people give to that car with the PIAA light conversion, the 2" drop springs, big scoops on the hood, and the 19" tires that are bigger than the car itself, and get a kick out of their reactions. You get all warm and gooshy inside by knowing you help out children in need by putting smiles on their faces, whenever you drive by with that car on the trailer all lit up with neon. A car that isn't made anymore, is kept alive by being the prize posession of most of their owners who spend 5 times more than what they paid for them to gain a few more horsepower, and loose a couple seconds off their 1/4 mile, and spend many of nights sleeping "in the dog house" because of it. You help them save their paychecks on tow bills by being the "Fieros West & WCF Support Vehicle". So crack open a drink, Fiero Tower Guy, and know that the Fiero community appreciates your participation & support. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be able to show Corvettes and Porches just how Mean the "M" in 2M6 can get!

Who has been saying it's "on and off"? There has never been a problem.

I thought about it pokey, but there's only been 8 rooms reserved, and I don't know if I wanna pay the $200+ dollars just for the room, then the 3 or so hour drive up there, for it to be the same handfull of people! Now if there were 25 rooms reserved, and 80 people made their reservations, that would be a different story!
hey! just because I haven't gotten a room yet doesn't mean I won't go! Yes, I need to make my reservation. I'm currently working out my summer so that I'll be in this state during that weekend...

I haven't sent out the registration packages yet. They should be in the mail this week. As of last Tuesday, we had 10 rooms reserved out of a block of 30, and that is before the big "marketing push" that's coming. The problem is, you can't get people to reserve very far in advance, no matter how much you beg. The same thing happened last time in Truckee, we sold out our block of rooms, had 50 Fieros there (34 in the show), and 80 people.

I just made my reservations. Part of the fun is just the drive up to the mountains and back. Hope to see lots of other Fiero people there. Hope gas prices keep droping.

I would like to know what classes we will have for the show and what the limits are for each class (for instance, will all GT's be in a single class? will the stock class be open to cars with Mr. Mike seats, tinted windows or aftermarket wheels?) That sort of thing.

YEAH!
I'm thinking lunch in Kettlemen City? It's halfway in between San Diego [farthest south anyone is coming from] and Sacramento... Plus it's RIGHT ON Highway 5.
Janell ...yes, I'm still trying to convince my parents that I need to do this. It's my first weekend as a High School Graduate... not including the one that I graduate on.

If you don't yet know details about classes for the show, perhaps you could fill us in on the Girls Gone Wild crew expected to be in Truckee that weekend.

I should have the info/registration packages done in the next day or so, and will go out in the mail. I'll send some to Larry from San Diego and to WCF, so they should be available at the BBQ.
Remember - make your hotel reservation! As of a couple of days ago, there were 15 rooms left. That's good news if you need a room, but bad news if we don't have them reserved by June 1.
