Sorry guys,
He must be updateing it again/ still keep checking, he has a little write-up about it.

Basicly... an old 80's (mid 80 ) stang scoop is what you need. it is fiberglass, it will glass on the deck lid with no problems. These are the ones that had fake vents on them (just take off the fakes) they even come with studs to make the mounting easy!

Who sells it...I know there are some on here pat at fibersmith is one I think.
Lok in junk yards they are on ebay sometimes. maybe try a mustang fourm.

Check out http://www.fibersmith.net/fiero.html
I will be getting some parts from him real soon (waiting for next pay-check). His prices are very fair and he has been a real treat to deal with so far.

The scoop will cover were the hump was. I have an 82 Ford Mustang scoop on the back of my Fiero and there is about 3/4" on each side of the scoop. If you want I will post pics after it stops raining and I can get out to my Fiero.

Here are the pics!

I thought there was 3/4" But After I modified the hood and took the dimensions all the way to the supports, I have 1/4" lip. Just enough to hide the wiring of my L.E.D. lights that I am working on.

so did u cut the whole "hump" out of the decklid? im also not to sure of a way of doing it that will be able to keep the engine bay dry, while still serving as a good scoop. what about leaving some of the bump in the lid there, cutting the top of it out, that way, with the mustang scoop over it, the water or rain or whatever couldnt make it up the incline of the original bump.

You can't really see in the first pic, but there is a screen there. I used the screen mesh from the corner engine cover panels.
As for keeping the rain out, I don't open the hood when it is wet. You have to cut the whole hump out or the scoop will not sit flush with the hood.
