Fastback.

EDIT: Since I own page 2, and I voted fastback; all votes on this page will be counted for the fastback. Thank you.

Do I need to live in Flordia or Ohio to demand a recount? <--No offence intended to our FL or OH residents.

Don't shoot the messanger but here's a quote from the experts - " ........Fieros will appreciate in coming years. It remains to be seen exactly when and how much this appreciation will be. The GT Fastbacks, Indy and Formula will definitely lead the way of "desirables". The 84-87 coupes and SE's will probably continue to depreciate, unless they are above average". Ed

Fastback forever. With the exception of bumperpad notchies . The notchies I just don't like the taillights, and most of the rest of the car looks very old. The fastback looks very modern and most people think its a new car until they see the interior.

I drive a notchy and I like it, but for sheer looks, the fastback is better IMOH.

BTW, how do you get into that one? edit (madcurl's choptop)

I beg to differ....my car looks far from old to me !! I like both, better than any other car I have had. But I would not trade my car for any fastback mainly just because I like the particular car I have ..... But, I do plan to own a 88 Fastback down the road.

I own both a formula and a GT the GT looks so much better. I love the fastback. I only bought the formula because it was an 88 for a good price.

I'd better spread some notchie-loving propoganda....so I'll have all the 88 GT's to me!!! MUAHAHAHA!!! . .

The notchback is a much better car than the fastback, the fastbacks flip over once they hit 88 mph. So go buy all notchies from now on trust me it'll be better for you (and me) .

In stock form, I like 86-87 SE's (AERO NOTCHIE'S). In black, I think they are the best looking Fieros from the factory.

But when you get into doing some body modifications, I'd definately take a FASTBACK over a notchback.

The fastback looks very modern and most people think its a new car until they see the interior.

I never have this problem with my T-top...

With an updated interior the fastback looks like a modern car. The notchback, while attractive to some, is a style that is not very common on modern cars.

Now having said all that, I still have a soft spot for the Indy/85GT/86SE, and also the 87-88 Coupe. But it's a nostalgic kind of feeling. When I see a nice fastback it really gets me excited.

I can't really say fastback or notchback - but I preffer the Aero fieros 85gt/86se/indy and the 86-88 fastback - i like them equally - but i preffer to drive the aero notchback because it is so unique on the road

Notchie all the way! Look at the fatness of the rear of the flab-back as I like to call the fastbacks compared to the much more sleek and trim notchies.
Formula's number one!
I like them both to be honest but I do prefer the notchie. I had a fastback before and I loved it but, even when I owned it, I still always wanted a Formula. It just looks more agressive to me than the fastback does. I think the fastback has a certain exotic look to it but I think the notchie has a much more agressive look to it. In other words; the fastback looks to me like it has the swoopy exotic look while the notchie has the all business look, as in, the notchie is only there to do one thing; go fast.
I also think both styles still look modern. As I said above; the fastback has an italian look while the notchie, to me, resembles modern cars like the S2000.

The fastback weighs more, which means of course that the notchback is faster.

In other words, Notchbacks rule!

Lowered Big Wheel Aero Notchback IN MY OPINION looks the most racy. It just looks like a race car.

I do admit the day I find a way to put fastback tail lights on a Notchback is the day the Notchback is Perfect.

Fastback I think has the style and the looks. An Aero Notchback is more of the 80's muscle car look. I like them both
