It's always some notchback-pro person starting the thread "notchie vs fastback". Just be happy you have a unique car, you don't need confirmation from us you like your notchback. As for the threads topic, I have owned both and I like both, but the fastback edges out in exotic look.

HI all,
Take a goooood look at alex4umla's yellow notchie and tell us the fastback looks more like an exotic....
Fastbacks without a wing is my choice but my next Fiero will be a notchie, how come notchie stuff is so cheap comapred to fastbacks havn't figuredd that one out yet.

i think the cost is shear numbers the coupes sold for twice as long as the fastbacks and in greater numbers . i love fastbacks but only have notchbacks
Come on a TRUE Fiero Freak loves them both in their own way. Am i right or am i right? Although i do have to say i like the fastback just a little bit more. They're the reason i got into fieros. But ALL fiero RULE whether in be notchback, fastback, 4 cylinder, or 6 cylinder

Let us not exclude our mesomorphic friends with the 8 cylinder's.

I like both. I have an 87 aero notchy that will eventually be a 300 - 400 or so hp monster ($$$) but I would like to get a stock 88 GT, T-top, 5-speed for the collection. - One that looks nice
My opinion: The fastbacks look better from a distance but the notchys look better up close. Wings are a must on the FB, either way is good on the notchy depending upon the body.
