i own page 2 but mainly cause no one else post lol

i know it probly wont work but figured id ask so i know for sure . can i use the stock caddy tennsioner setup or will it hit the deck lid? so far we got the front mount and most of the exhaust fab waiting on the new cradle and the custom flywheel to finish up hopfully well get some pics up soon

The Cadillac belt tensioner will not work. You need to make a bracket and use a belt tensioner off of a 3.4L Camaro. Here's the post on how to do it. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Archives/Archive-000001/HTML/20050818-2-052483.html

figure that already have that tensionor just wanted to double check on that one

why wont the tensioner work?? hit the trunk lid or hinge???

I think it was due to the belt routing when you remove the ac compressor and the power steering pump, the old tensioner would not come in correct contact with the belt.

capt fieroi want to thank you for that info on lsc it helped out alot there making me my flywheel no ands almost done saved me a big head ack well at least it saved my big head ache from becomeing a huge head ache

Will hit the trunk hinge plus the PS pump is attached to it. The new tensioner bracket is really simple to make and works great.

well started getting rid of some of the usless wires. theres not a whole lot to do till i get the new cradle and the flywheel in. Now that i finally have a motor that may work and got my flywheel issue worked out the swap seems to be going pretty easy.
