Just wondering who has Fino's, their colors, engines, other mods and where they are located. I'm getting ready to paint mine and we don't need 2 of the same color if there are only 20 in the US.
Mine is now mint-green, but I am too damn old for that color. What colors are already taken?
Mine also has an SBC in the back, but it needs a lot of work to clean it up. Any others on the East Coast?
Show us some photos! Tell us some stories!
Might as well run a tab on where the Finale's are located and how they look, too.
Andrew

I was wondering who had th Finale with the Pontiac tail lights! Very nice job! I guess that stops people from asking if it is a lotus or European exotic...

Madcurl just posted that picture....it's actually John Stricker's car. It's located in Kansas and has a 4.9 Cadillac V8 installed in it. John drives the car, too...he had it up in Iowa yesterday, working as a corner worker at Mid America Motorplex...

Hey sax, it doesn't look like anyone has a black or silver fino, just thought I would point that out because you are talking about painting the lime(and I must say it took you long enough ) but yea, just pointing out the obvious

There is a silver Fino in the Chicago area. Archie had sold 3 of them this year....the blue one pictured above ( bad pic, too..), the red one pictured above, and a silver one.
This should be a better pic of the blue one....
I really like the paint job on this one....

Thanks. The green has grown on me, but I think I have washed it off, now.
I have seen the silver one on Archies site. Dark blue is so nice (as Kohburn has suggested) -especially an "Air Force" blue, but the reason for going with this car was to have the only one like it. Hmm. I might have to photoshop a black one to see how it looks. That may be the way to go (once I get the A/C going in the new donor car, of course).
theres a guy locally here, not on the forum i think, building one of these, drove past his house on the way to pull some parts off a parts car, looked over as i was driving and was just shocked to see this thing sitting in his driveway, primered. almost stopped to talk to the owner but didnt. maybe i will next time im that way.

Thanks for the input!
well don't forget that yours has the finale back end unlike that blue one - and you were mentioning doing the airforce logo on the side in silver
