Well, Master Tuner Akimoto's real name is Keith Sybliss, who used to be Bluemajic on PFF untill he ripped countless people off of here and ebay. People here set him up and caught him in the act of stealing money from fraudulent auctions and bad deals on PFF. They put the heat on him so bad that he disapeared. BUT, being the fraud liar that I have told you all that he is, he couldnt stay gone, he came back as the "Master Tuner" and ripped me off of $6,000 for a job that he couldnt do.
Want proof? Do a search of "sybliss" in the Archived GFC and entire thread. You will find 2 pages of threads and stories of how he ripped off people and was threated to be turned into the athorities. You will also notice that he tries to defend him self the same way he did with me. Never taking the blame and sounding oh so stupid doing it.

You know a brandnew(probally remain) 4.9 will run you no more then $2500 bucks + a premade wire harness $700bucks, Spec stage 3 clutch $350bucks, New alt $120 , starter $65 bucks oil, plug wires, misc hoses $300bucks (that's using some expensive misc items ) Ed parks mounts and tensioning system $365 bucks IM STILL NOT AT $6000bucks YET !!!! Oh yeah custom exhaust system $700bucks adds up to a bit over $5000 bucks.

I've kept quite until now, as I didn't feel I needed to say anything. But enlight of current events, and MTA's attempt at personal attacks at GMetalGT, I'll share mine.
Back a few months ago when I was gearing up for my 4.9 swap, I had most everything I needed. With few exceptions, one being the flywheel. I had come to find out that MTA modified flywheels for this swap. And since I had called a few shops around here and none that I talked to seemed to energetic to plug and redrill a flywheel, I decided to go with MTA.
I send him a PM asking about them, and got the response of price and shipping and such. Ok, seems good so far. I contacted him a short while later, asking if he had flywheels ready to be shipped, as I was running out of time to gather parts, and getting one, shipping it to him, and him shipping it back to me, might have taken too long. I also told this to him in one of my PM's. His response was very professional, he understood my position, and wanted to help. He said if I overnighted a money order to him for $212.00 the flywheel would go out next day.
So I sent him out 212 dollars. I didn't hear from him for a few days. I PM'd him a few times, and finally got the response that is was shipped, but he didn't have the Tracking number. Fine. As long as I get it. It had already been about 1 week since he had the money order. I started my swap in aprox 3 days, and really needed the flywheel. I resorted to daily PM's from him, and never got a response. I finally got the flywheel, one day before I needed to bolt in on. So sure it got there in time, but that's not the point. It took aprox 1.5 - 2 weeks after he had money to get the flywheel to me.
And once i got it, I inspected the holes, and found that 2 of them were oblong, with a 3rd one looking not quite right. Add to that the center bushing I could take out if I wanted. It just didn't seem like the kind of high quality work that I would expect for $212. The only reason I didn't talk to him about it, is I talked to one of my shop Foremen at my work, and he said as long as I mount it a certain way, it should be ok. So I did, and it's been about 200 miles so far. So it is holding up.
There is my story, take it as you will. Just wanted to share my piece.

That is part of the payment I got for working on his car and yes I am using the monitor until the company's loss prevention come gets it and the towels as evidence that it came from the resort and how it came in my possesion also I didn't use hot credit card to buy any thing. Here's what I find really sad. When I sold gmetal the car it had a nicely built 3.4 pushrod in it that was very strong and got 30mpg highway. Yes, the car needed a paint job--he did that nicely. Yes, it needed suspension reworked which he also did nicely---- but for King Kongs sake I will never figure out why he ditched the fresh great running 3.4 for mta's 4.9 special. I would love to have that engine back.
Oh well-----live n learn.

Are you saying that 6000 cheap or correct price for a 4.9 swap. I did a complete 4.9 swap, fuel injected with a NEW Flywheel not redrill, 5spd version for $2600 US Funds. I can see 4500 or 4600 if you do a tear down to freshen things up and install some performance parts.
Maybe you should get a clue before you start bashing people.
