Ken must have 20 gigabytes of pictures sinces he downloaded from everybody's camera, but I'll show off Steve's notchie. I love this Kami ground effect. I wonder why you don't see more of these?
The number 2 car ran great, no breakdowns, plenty of gas available on the highway; not that I needed it with a record 29 MPGs (for me) out of the stock 2.8

I had a great time! Mad props to Ken, Heidi, & revin for pulling this wonderful event off. My 2.8 Automatic didn't fare too bad in mpg. With gas at $3.00 a gallon in Fort Worth for the cheap stuff, I was proud to see 25 mpg!
Here are my offerings:
disclaimer** (no Fiero's were harmed during the taking of this picture)
yes... they really can fit! (if lowered & with low profile tires)
Here's some fun sights on the cruise!
Portent of doom? -or- just coincidental parking spot?
I HIGHLY recommend this Dentist in Dripping Springs.... gives the best oral something job in town!
Here's our brave leader revin and prettier half, Lupe, on the roll... Nice brakes Kevin!
The food was good. OMG... the food was good. just ask Stephen, (mustangsbeware) after he gets finished chewing his Salt Lick sannich.
If you use your imagination... you can visualize host Ken, pinning a wheel to Kevin's forehead while fondling his cheek. A touching image... really...
And lastly... good to my word... I wash Mike Parker's 'Darkwing' in undies... you late risers on Sunday morning missed this spectacle. Now he claims that AAFO beat NTFC by have 1 more paid registrant attendee than we did (they had 11, we had 10)... but my group did not let me down as NTFC proudly showed up with 10 Fiero's for this FIERO show. Wimpy ole AAFO only had 8 Fiero's. Whassa matta San Antonio? You cars just broke or you embarrased to show 'em off? Thought so. I talk so tough as I leave you with this... love that guy in the Suburban...

And Blake (Blakeinspace) gets to wash Darkwing while the owner (and bet winner) points out the speck of dust missed. Seems AAFO of the San Antonio area had one more attendee than the North Texas Fiero group - where were you Loyde??????
...and this was our scene across the road from our supper on the Colorado river:

Working on wiring harness for other 3800SC Fieros. I am so behind, I do not get the privilege to be a Fiero owner and participant.
Will Martins 3800SC InterCooled 5 speed was to be the car I bring there, but it is not done. I am currently working on his wiring, and a couple others. Just to many things to do....
Glad everyone had a great time. The weather looks like it was great there as it was here in Dallas.

On top of all this I get a FREE BLAKE-N-UNDIES WASH.....life don't get much better.
We had a blast...looking foward to next year; Dallas, Houston, Corpus, Oklahoma, lets make it happen.
See y'all at ROUND-UP X in Old San Antonio, April, 2006..

As everyone else has already said, the show was great, couldnt have been better. Big thanks to Hedi, Ken and as much as I hate to say it but Kevin also(J/K). I have several pictures but havent downloaded them yet and will do that later and add them to this post. Several of us(Daniel, Amber, Nathan, Tim and myself) took the senic route back to DFW using 183/67, very nice route to take back for cruising. It was good to see everyone again and looking forward to seeing everyone again at the next get together. On the gas milage note, I got 31 MPG with my 3800SC/4T65E going both ways and that was cruising from 75-85 most of the way, cant beat that.
Heading to the show--Revin/Blake
Line up at the show
Start of cruise
End of cruise(very nice house)
Everyone enjoying the show

Just a quick note to thank Heidi, Ken, and Kevin for a wonderful weekend... good show, good cruise, and the best fajitas I've ever eaten. We got off to a late start due (engine washing mishaps) and missed joining up with John and Steve for the trip down but got into Austin (and ran out of gas, 16mpg with an auto 3.1... sucked) in time for a late supper with Kevin and Blake. I didn't take alot of pictures with the digital camera, but here's a couple from the show...
The spraypaint masterpiece
Before I accidentally ruined his paint
One of my favorites
Look at that shine
Despite the crazy hills that shook the oil out of my engine (it said on the map they were dangerous...) the cruise was also alot of fun and only ever so slightly too long (a couple miles maybe ) The evening's activities were amazing, much thanks to those folks who cooked and owned the house, with lots of fun games and prizes, plus the creative awards.
Maybe next year it'll be some Dallas folk who'll step up and volunteer to host? Hmmmmm.....

Someone took a picture of Dale (the chef) sleeping on the lower deck of the boat. Whoever took that picture, please post it! We would love to have that pic!
I do not know how to feel. I saw fit to quit my job this morning. I could see it coming and should have done it Friday. Bummed is how I feel. Can we do it again this weekend ? Glad all had a good time, wish I would have been there. I think I will go for a drive in my Fiero, that will pick me up.
Nice pics everyone. It was fun down there, other then losing the exhaust tip that was on the passenger side of my car. On the way back Tom's GT killed an ignition module( never seen a car just start spitting out black smoke, some old carbon AND orange fireballs before) a quick 15 minute fix and we were back on the road.

The backup ignition module that I did not need to install at Wally World was my ORIGINAL 1988 module (about 89,000 miles). Coming home on Sunday, my car loses power above 45 mph, and starts backfiring like four 12ga shotguns are belching from the tips. Our little convoy pulls over and I was asked... "what on earth would cause you car to do THAT?"
I replied, "If the symptoms are crazy, and you don't know what the problem is... Replace the ignition module." So I put the module in from when I started the trip, and took the original out. Problem solved. Stupid ignition modules."
I plan on opening a Blakeinspace's 'Used but not Abused' module center. Glad you boys made it back to OKC safely! I want to see Meryl's Mera at the next Ruckus!
Is OKC going to run with the Ruckus baton? I bet between ya'll, Adam, Max, Lanzo, Kevin Leslie and George & Jan Ryan... there's enough enthusiasts in our northern neighbor to host a good show!

It would be great if Lone Star Fieros stepped up and hosted Ruckus V in Houston...

For as many ppl that was there, not very many pictures being posted of the events, did no one take any. Here are a few more that I took from our trip back.
An Italian joint we stopped at for lunch
A re-fill of that high dollar stuff
Rest Area
Finally back home(Ambers House)

Didn't get many good pictures this time, but here are the few that were decent and not exactly the same as everyone else's... please pardon the conventional film and scanner approach.
James' passenger seat
More at the Salt Lick
Checkin' out the jams
Row of Fieros

Nathan and Stephen checking out Nathan's engine problem, nothing to worry about... I fixed it for him after taking this picture
On another note, sorry John, I not only already registered for the Round-up, I already registered for the next Ruckus (don't ask where I mailed those checks off to...)

That red car at the end is Ambers(Pumkincarriage) 85 GT with a 3.1 auto in it. The weather was very nice for the weekend and not blazing hot as usual. We still have a few 90* days ahead of us before we get our winter days(a few 50* days if we are lucky).

Kevin presenting John with his 1st to Register Award. The only way I could get the worm to stay on the plaque was to screw it on---luckily no messy guts came out in the process!
I have plenty of worms for upcoming events! I would be glad to send some to whoever needs them. Heidi

The Fiero People who attended made this Ruckus great! The organizers did a great job in planning and setting it all up. I feel it is important to clarify that Heidi and Kevin were the organizers. I had very little involvement except to enjoy the event just like everybody else! Looking forward to next year!!!!!!!!!

Hrrm, the next Ruckus... not quite, but let's just say that I've been inspired. And you may want to start that 3.4 swap a little early We'll see how it goes, so stay tuned.
That's no regular Maxima, it's actually a rebodied Fiero... the Nissan truck on the end is too.
