Headlight motors from 82-86 Firebirds are the same as used in 84-86 Fieros. Motors in 87-92 (I think 92) motors are the same as those used in 87/8 Fieros. I think they have to be swapped side for side though. Ogre says the Sunbird motors will also fit. See article in his Cave and also the one at http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Garage/5007/fiero_osg/headlights.html.
Headlight modules from 87-92? Firebirds are identical to the ones used in 87/8 Fieros.
Mirrors on Firebirds and Camaros from the same years that the Fiero was produced are the same, including power units.
Power window motors (but probably not the regulators?) and power door lock actuators are also the same from like years of Firebirds and Camaros.
PW and PM switches are exactly the same in some years of Firebirds/Camaros. Since all these electrical items are the same, then so are the connectors. Even if the actual wiring harness is different in the F bodies, the connectors can be used to fabricate your own wiring harnesses (to upgrade to genII headlight motors, for example) or to replace connectors that may be damaged in your Fiero.
I just took a rear wing of an 86 Firebird (has 3rd brake light) and it is gonna look nice on my car -- and it was Cheap. It is the same shape as the Fiero wing but not as wide (from front to back) and maybe sits lower. I had about given up on ever finding a wing for my 85 GT project car but bought this one a couple weeks ago from the u-pull-it.
Many have mentioned getting hood struts from different cars to install on the rear decklid to compensate for having the wrong torsion springs when adding or removing a wing or luggage rack. I could never figure out just which ones they meant and I don't want to pay a lot of money for one especially since what I am really looking for is a set of the correct springs to go in my GT. But, in the meantime, I scavenged a hood prop rod from a small Ford pickup and mounted it to my rear decklid so I don't have to keep putting that long stick up everytime I am working back there.
I found an EGR cover on some mid-80's GM car that fits my Fiero perfectly. Someone occassionally sells these on ebay.

The 89-90 grand prix coupe tgp or mclaren should be on it 8th vin: v
90 STE turbo 4 door same as above. If you can find one that would be a cool upgrade. my 3300lb car goes fast with that motor. in the fiero it would be killer fast

For the hood strut you can go to rodney..... I got one from autozone. It was mighty lift brand part number 95 276. It comes with the ball joint too. I just drilled a hole in the bracket and taped it for the ball joint and it hooks to the other end of the strut hooks too the existing hinge.
Mid 80's hood vent are also often installed. Same with the headlight switches
I've got an in-dash OEM Pontiac CD player from a '96 Sunfire(?)... it looks completely stock in my Formula.

Other automatic shift knobs. 92 and probably earlier year Camaro knobs will fit. They are kind of a cobra-head style instead of the T-style. I'm told that the one in this pic came from a GP, but I'm not sure.

I have a 1990 TGP engine (3.1 Turbo) that I have been working on for a while now. It will be going into my Formula Fiero. I'll tell you guys, It's NOT a bolt in. The shifter cables are in the way of where the crossover is going to be. You either have to come up with a different crossover and turbo mount, or move the shifter cables. I intend to move the shifter cables. I dont know how it would fit in an auto. Also I am really anal, this is my toy/crown jewel. The upper plenum on the TGP would read upside-down if installed, and also it reads "Intercooled" wich is very difficult to do. The only sucess I have seen with this is a fella named Mick on the W-Body msg board. Mick has a 88 Formula as well and I think he is using a Saab 900 intercooler. I thing I would gain more just by hooking up the turbo right to the throttlebody, and avoid the piping required with an intercooler. So I will be using the Fiero upper plenum. Sorry so long, just my .02.

Are you referring to the "rear hood" or the "front hood" as i am looking for struts to use in the rear?
Thanks Ed

How about auto dimming mirrors from just about any other car that has one.

Grand Am seats, swap the tracks with the Fiero tracks and they bolt right in.About a hours work. They come in gray or tannish brown. Two door seats fold forward like the Fiero, four door seats do not fold at all.
Don't forget things like 120mph gauges and aux gauges, they bolt right in too.
The late eighties Cutlass Ciera has plastic caps on the front shock towers to cover the strut shaft and nut so they don't show..I think these covers would fit on the rear strut towers of the Fiero.
Late 80's Turbo Sunbirds have nice hood vents that look pretty nice on the hoods of Fieros (and lets air escape from under the hood).
I picked up a pair of 88 Sunbird Turbo hood vents at a local U-Pull-It for a total of five bucks . Look great on the Fiero . They help with cooling and don't allow air to become trapped under the hood at highway speeds .

From the Fieros themselves: 1.upolstery can be switched from passenger seats to the drivers seats 2.switching the fast back bodywork to a notchback(if you are anti-notchback) 3.adding options like power door locks and windows(probably easier to just switch the door) 4.lace rims instead of the 14"
From other cars: 1.different scoops from different cars(trans am scoops, sunbird) I can't think of any others.
Has anyone successfully used taillights from other cars and had it look good? I'm thinking something should be able to be done with the notchback tailight area. The lights from the RSX look really good but I don't think they would be anything close to a bolt-in mod

I saw a molded steering wheel from a newer Grand Am or Sunbird on a Fiero in a used car lot. Couldn't figure out what car it came from but it had the Pontiac emblem on it and looked like it belonged. Had horn paddles like the SE and Formula wheels but was a newer style. If anyone knows what car this could be from I would think it's a bolt-on and a nice upgrade for your melted, sagging leather wheel.

I just did that exact thing this last weekend and it was a breeze. The A Arms had holes in the correct spots and it was easy to drill the holes in the back end of the cradle for the sway bar brackets. I used a 2 5/8 in polyurethane end link kit from Energy Suspensions. $13 for the sway bar at the local Pick-a-Part and $15 for the end link kit at Pep Boys. About 2 hrs to drill and mount it up. I took my time and made sure everything fit perfect. It could be done in a lot less time.
To answer the orig question...I also have 16 in rims off a new cavalier GT coupe (see sig).
