The reason that Dietmar isn't doing anything any more for the fiero scene here in Germany is because he has over $50,000 of out-standing debts that people haven't paid for. That is a big debt for one man to shoulder.
I had him down to my place a few days ago and we talked alot about things. Maybe he'll change his mind after he has been able to recoop some of his losses.

I sure hope so.

That is sad, that is a lot of money. But how could the customer get the parts without paying?
Pay in advance would be a safe way.

It's more than one customer. Dietmar is a really nice guy and a few people took advantage of him. I don't know who the people are. I just know that he was really hurt.

Sad very sad..because i know how he feels..As i am Canadian living over here in Holland i do have to say that i have met a lot of Pain in the ass Dutch People.but that does not stop me from living here..Dieter is a gr8 man..i drove down to his shop with my wife and it is just awesome at what he can do..IT WOULD BE A GR8 LOSS TO THE FIERO FOLLOWERS if he gave up his skill....

Charlie talk to dieter and see if he is willing to set-up a pay-pal account and maybe a some of us can help him out..i have a few bucks that he can have to help out...I really hate to see his talent get lost

He can't be in such need for money as I had ordered 1500 Euros worth of stuff and then he decided he didn't want to sell anymore to Fiero people because he got screwed by others. As if that was my fault - I always paid in full!

It is a shame but Dietmar is a nice but difficult guy...

It is true that I have to stop my small shop because of many facts . Loosing much money because of customer is also fact .
Most of this money I not loose because of Fiero . Fiero never was my main buisness , it only was freetime , weekend and love to Fieros .
Futher I want give an information for one guy , who never stay in near contact with me , never bought any part from me and called my style to much ricer :
If you maybe bought parts from my shop for 1500€ before , there was only a winning about 250€ for me , because of material , taxes , partners for help and time .
Also there never was an order only questions about prices .Things I installed in his car were ordered by himself at different places . I told him that this is no problem for me . The problem was , he visit me at a partner garage to see what happen there, but private person are not allowed for enter this garage . So I loose this connection and I loose money also because of him .
The day I know Charly , my best friend and partner in every kind , will leave Germany I know the best Fiero -times for me and many other guys will stop . Him spent so much money only for keep Fiero owners in Europe together without thinking of winning money and most time him never got the big respect for all that fantastic work .
The story 360 bumper never will happen I can `t understand , because it also was available on ebay by my auction .
If Charly is able to import this bumper everytime him can get . I still have 4 more bumpers I īm not interested anymore .
Maybe it is true that I was a difficult person , sometimes it was a nice time but many time I have done a hard job I many time not payed for .
Thanks for all guys who respect my work and modifications and gave me many compliments , but now it is also fact that I find no new job .
The only job I now find because of my age is Pizzaman and I try to do this job with same love I gave Fieros .
So no problem . Now I īm a pizza - taxi - driver and I have no stress anymore .
No 850 € insurance every month , no stories from want buying , no broken cars , no dirty oil , no smelling petrol , gfk and colours , no running after money and knowledge about rights , customer have if they don `t want to pay .

Itīs sad. I now that I recieved a email that the prototype was done and the produktion would start soon. (April 2005)
I newer got a price. I sent a email a couple of weeks later but did not get any respons.
When I tryed too order on the website that was not possible. Have not seen anything about an ebay auction.
If you only sent me one more answer with price and now ready for shipping I would have gotten one. If you still have one or can get one I am interested. Send me a PM.

I meet Dietmar years ago in Augsburg maybe it wasnīt his day ,sade for me because i asked him about his backlights on his car .
Its wasnīt that answer i wanted to hear .....................
Ok the thing is that the Fiero scene in Europe and special germany is distroyed to the ground !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......
Fiero drivers are not the people like the Volkswagen guys and Opel or BMW .
Nobody want to spend money in a Fiero .
Cars getting sold on Ebay.de like junk .
Everything should be cheap , dirvers would even install used brake parts if they would get some or other stuff ..........
Its ok saving money but if u have a car like this it should be your hobbie.
So u can spend money on it ,other guys do it on VW ,BEMERS, MERCS or ricer .
Ok sure i make the things really bad but itīs kind of way in germany .

People like yellowstone and D.Rohm or myself are the few people in germany how spend money in the cars they own to have something unique on german meetings and highways even with the thinking like myself that a VW VR6 can smoke you .
Soo i can understand Charly that he left germany and stoped business here in Europe .

Charly thank you for everything what u did for the Fiero scene in Germany !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Myself work at a Mercedes dealer ship and i have to do alot with customers ,so i know what Dietmar is talking about .
And that is Merc, its like with the car owners on a Turkish market / bazar everything is only about the price .
Customers are the worste in my job.
This problem has even a friend of mine, who produce Ferrari kits .
2000 euro for a complete fiberglass body is to much for the people in europe , come on can't understand that .

If u look the replica market in the UK the market is so busy ,and so much companyīs ,all or most selfbuilders and germamy the orgin of automobiles nothing , only a hand full enthusiasts .
And that for carnuts german .

Shame on germany ,here only counts VW ,BMW ,OPEL and MERCEDES .
And one egg looks like the other .

This is what i hate if your at the traffic lights and a car come beside yours and look exact the same like yours .
Hate that !.
Happy myself that every car i drive is custom made and unique itself .
Sure its hard because of the TÜV but you only need to look beside yourself ,if you play the rules u can do alot if u want to .

US cars are too few and rare on german streets .
Maybe because a lot of germans have problems with the language or i donīt know .

So i hope this will change one time in germany .
But donīt think soo if u see meetings like tuning world bodensee or others , its geeting boring if you are there .
Soo i donīt do cars for meetings i do them for myself.

True is he has problems with his fieberglass man but I think we have found new one, I sent dietmar a set of pannels that he made ,to look at and he said they are perfect so for all of you that wants one all I can say is you will just have to wait.

You just answered my Q I was hoping they would be manufactured as OEM panels. I would like to see this done instead of cheap to make fiberglass parts at a high price.
I would like to know why he would not sell to the German Fiero people? Does this mean he will not sell to the American German people?
