The Pick-A-Part junkyards guys here don't like us much, since we don't let them have any Fieros. There yards are bare since they crushed all of thier Fieros. We even picked up a couple more in the last week or two.
They probably put up that Fiero sign so they know who to 'bend over' so to speak. I used to get that all the time, "What kinda car is that off of?" "Fiero" "Oh thats goinging to be 5X more"
Thinking about it we have a Fiero as a Fiero sign, does that count?
You guys in the states should be happy In Sweden the Fieros are really rare and parts are not cheap These photos are like a happy dream for me cause I have 100 US Miles (16 Swedish Miles) to the closest yard (what I know of) where they have a fiero to wreanch parts of Sad I Know... But I'm going there anyway when I got the cash and the time
Rumor you must have forgotten about all the fiero parts at Kick Hill. They may not be complete cars (although he does get some from time to time) but there are several hundred cars in pieces there.

Geeeezzzz. The white car on the right in the first pic in davikan's repost looks like you could hop in and drive off. May be an illusion, but the rf tire looks all but new. I keep telling myself that the engine's probably blown and that every gear in the tranny is stripped to the hub. Or that the car got massively rear-ended and the frame's bent and you can't see it in the pic. Otherwise, it just hurts to see something like that in a salvage yard. It's like looking at dogs in a shelter, you just want to take them all home and give them good lives.

I was just at the Fiero yard today (I hardly ever get over to that side of town), and I know what you mean. It's at once exciting and saddening to see so many Fieros, but in such bad shape. And, considering that dogs are some of my favorite people, I totally "get" your analogy.
The white GT Shyster mentioned is there. I was told that it belongs to the president of the LV Fiero Club, but I think I remember it sitting in the same spot I saw it in today months ago when I was last there. Still, it was definitely in good enough shape to make me take more than a second look. There are other Fieros there in nearly as good shape, and certainly many, MANY that would merit some TLC. Still others' souls have passed on to the great Fiero lot in the sky, but they'd yield a LOT of good parts so other Fieros could live again.
There's an Indy that they keep inside that I've been told is going to be restored. It's a little rough right now, but if the club could find the time, money, and manpower, I think it could be brought back from the brink.
If possible, patronize these guys! Their having more business means that they might actually do some restoration work and put more Fieros on the road here in Vegas. Besides mine, I've seen NO MORE than 3 or 4 in the past 6 months.
THIS IS A TRAVESTY! :-(

Thats all you see in Vegas? I would see like 2 a day driving around that were not from the club. ( I did do ALOT of driving though)
I don't know if THAT white one is the pres' or not I'm thinking that was a different one that has been sold. Most of The Fieros there have good titles(not salvage) some are ready to drive off. Those pics are from 2003, here are some newer pics, still kinda old, It changes quite often.

So next time you guy/gals come to Vegas stop by, don't pack clothes, just bring empty bags. So on the return trip home you don't excede the carry on bag limit.
