That would be backspacing.

Thanks. It was nice to meet with you and your dad last nice at Towers

For those asking about the yellow car here are some pics of the rear tires. Wheels are 18x7.5 35mm with 245-40-18R and 215-40-18F tires.

Left is stock size tire and right is the 245. Yeah it is taller.

I was debating about getting 18x7.5 inch rims...like on your yellow fiero. You said they are 35mm...is that even with the fender lip? or inset? Were suspension changes required to run them? Pic were not as clear as your pics of the red fiero! I want to go with something even with the fender lip. Though not as outset as your new wheels on your red Fiero though.

Thanks!

Thanks! Since it is a bit hard to tell in the pics...are they flush with the fender lip? No good up above shows like on your red car!

If you have a 84-87 stock suspension using 18's with a 35mm you may need to have coilovers. A stock 88 using 18's with a 35mm will clear. Before I had 17x7.5 35mm using 235/45/17 and it bearly cleared. 1" higher or in total diameter would have hit the berch.

If you see in the bright pic above you can notice they fit almost flush or a very little inward the lip. They don't stick out.

Wow, I'm a fan of five spoke wheels, and I thought your Itals were nice, but WOW! Those new ones fill up the holes nicely! I went with the big n' little method too - not as big as you - ICW 925CB's (my car is black, the gunmetal looks nice) 16's in the back and 15's up front. That meant seven inch widths unless I had wanted to get 18's ($$$) in the back and even then only 7.5 width. With 225x55's on the rear wheels my tires are about dead on with the stock size diameter and with 205x60's up front they are actually smaller... just as well since I have almost a half inch more drop in the rear than the front with the springs. I get two almost three fingers in the back and the suspension hasn't had a chance to settle (new lowering springs/struts/a-arm bushings) and three fingers fit comfortably up front (but not four) with all new bushings, shocks and a coil cut out of a stock spring... check back with me after I get the alignment done and can drive it a little...

Alex they look awesome ! And the stance u have on your car is absolutely perfect !!!!!!!!

I am going to start calling you the stance guru, because i thought the stance on your yellow one was the best i had seen, but this one goes even a step further !!

The TSW Kyalami are nice wheels and they look good on Alex's car too!. They are one of the few wheels that come in Fiero bolt pattern and in a large variety of sizes and offsets.
