Placed my order. The V8 logo on front pocket and the Stinger bikini girl, #11 and #18 side Winder on the back (minus the Gun Metal chopper it didn't show-up clearly because of dark color)
Oh, I guess I "own" this page, hehehe.

I love the revised V8 choptop T-shirt with choptop on the front pocket. However, it was too cold to wear in Chicago, hehe. I hope Archie's T-shirt fits okay?

Glad to see you made it home ok.
It was great to see you again & thanks very much for the "T" shirt.
Once again we were short on time & had to rush around to get everything done that we needed to do. Maybe next time we can have some time.
Hope you got caught up on your sleep.
Archie

I'll be there. I haven't done much with the car. I've been working on an 88 4.5 swap. I have repainted and finnished the interior color change to black. It is still my daily driver. I remember something about past winners not able to enter the contests. Will my car be a display?

I'm in - reservations made! Car still needs painted, so it won't be much to look at, but I wouldn't miss the chance to get a bunch of choppers together in one place!

This was based on a quick search in the archive of anyone who said they were working on a chop top
Look for my chop t-top to debut in 2009
#9 Got started on mine finally. With my schedule it will take a while to get done, and there is no way I could make it to the show. But at least I started. BTW.....I have a few surprises I plan to do with this car. Some have been done, some may not have been.
Make sure you guys take lots of pictures. It will be pretty cool to have so many chops in one place.
I would really love to be there with the Stinger, but unfortunately the kid's school and wife's work schedule make it very tough this year. I also don't relish spending a good portion of a week's vacation driving.
How about if I do a framed show poster like MinnGreen did for the CFOG Nationals last August? Would someone be willing to display it if I sent it down? I am working on covnverting a Yat Ming to a Stinger model. Would that work? .... Jeff

Hmm. With only 8-weeks to go, it's time for a V8 Archie choptop/Homebrew recount. We already know Mike D can't make it. I'm deeply sadened about him not making it but, we do have more important matters to tend to.
V8 chopper's: JScott--------are you on schedual? Exoticse-----are you on schedual? Jim88GT.....are you on schedual? Madcurl......check.
HomeBrews Choppers?

Wow it looks like everybody, Chester, Dowdian, Jscott, and several homebrew guys, all need more time, and are a season away from being ready for Daytona.
That sucks.

I'm sure the Daytona show is a great show, but I think the only place to have a reunion of choptops would be for everyone to show up at Archie's for one of the open houses he has.

This might be a good idea if someone organized an event around it. I've never been to an Archie open house but it's appears to me to be more of an impromptu event for people that live close by. For people like Curley and me that have to drive for two days or more there has to be a multi-day event to make that worthwhile. Are there any shows up that way that Archie can link onto?

Last year Archies openhouse was Saturday and Fierorama was Sunday. Close enough?

This not looking good. Finished or unfinished I would like to see you guys there!
I would love to see them there too. Curley's Silver chop has never been seen by anyone on this side of the left bank. And I missed all the fun you guys had at Daytona last year. This all started out with me urging him to bring it to a show in the East & quickly got out of hand into a reunion type thing.
Curley called me on Tuesday, when I heard his voice I asked him if he needed an attitude adjustment & he just laughed. He said he was going to be posting to this thread again soon but it looks like he hasn't got to it yet.
As you know, he's crazy about chop tops & as it turns out because of a variety of reasons, not many choppers can make it to Daytona this year & Curley got a little disappointed.
So, it's true he's not going to make it to Daytona but the idea of a reunion has not been lost. Curley will tell you more about the current plan when he posts to this thread.
