Just got my plane tickets, and Fierogirl is handling the room reservations, so its a go for us. We'll be road tripping down from N. Carolina on Friday, so it looks like we'll be there sometime Friday evening. Hopefully we'll be in her gold SE, but that depends on whether or not she gets the motor fixed now that shes gone and blown it up.

The time for Pre-Registration for Daytona is drawing close (20 Feb)
If you do not want the complete package
Commemorative Shirt Dash Plaque Entrance for your Fiero and a passenger for 3 days into the Daytona Track and all the activities in there All American poolside Bar-B-Que
You can order them ala carte
Shirts $15 (Shirts ordered/purchased after the 20 Feb postmark date might be different)
It's cold down here (55F as I write this at 7 PM) so I know its got to be really cold up north now!! However -- I also know its not going to be this cold for the Daytona show!! But---it might be even colder than this up north then! So----are you ready for Daytona yet???? Let's get registered, clean those Fieros (or maybe just get them running good) and get ready to come on down and have some good old Florida fun in the sun with your Florida Fiero friends!!! We are ready!!!

Well the radiator went out in the hot rod so I will be driving a saturn. It gets better gas milage anyway Before you ask. I have a new radiator but its going to take some fab work to get it to fit and its not something you can just lay back in.

Keep your fingers crossed Scott! Hopefully we will have her car back on the road by next week. (well we have too!) I'm heading down to NC to help with the engine implant!!
And you, you better take care of my little girl!! I'm putting my trust in you. Sheesh, it sounds like my daughter is 2, instead of being 22. (well she will be by then)
Wish I could join you two, maybe next year!

That's no excuse man. Just get another Fiero radiator and put it in place. If it is working for me it should work for you

Thats great news! I know she was really looking forward to taking her Fiero down there. Just isn't the same without one. So I take it you can't make this time? Bummer! Will you be in NC at all, or am I gonna miss you completely? Guess I'll just have to come out for Carlisle again, just to be safe. Anyway, you know you can count on me to keep an eye on her. Course, then who'll keep an eye on me?

Question, Will we be receiving a packet back after being registered? Like the Daytona track passes? Or do we pick them up at the hotel? Thanks Gary BUMP

What I do is send out a message to confirm when I receive the registrations and confirm the information on the top sheet.
Then a couple of days later we compile the registration and send the Daytona Racing District their check for the window stickers that are sent to the participants. This is one of the most important reasons for pre-registering. Time to handle all the paperwork.
I you have sent in a registration and not heard back from me drop me a private message to Dragon@SpaceCoastFieros.com, or if you have any other questions about the show send me a message.
I hope this helps a little

Got mine in the mail today. Nothing like waiting til the last minute. As for the Registration, not many questions on there even applied for a "Stock" car. So most of it is left blank. Guess by that statement I'm bringing the Formula back this year. Any allowances for classes for the mileage? Nothing was asked about the mileage.

We pretty much decided mileage is not relevant. You could have 200,000 miles on your Fiero, completely restore it to stock and drive it once a year. Thus it certainly would not qualify as a daily driver. Or you could have a Fiero with 2,000 miles onit and are now driving it to work every day. The answers to the questionaire will sort all that out.

Ok one question. My friend is bringing his FD and will pay the $25 to enter for both days and park. He will be allowed to park with us right? How about next to my car? also i prolly missed it but, if he wants to come to the banquets do we pay the extra 20 now or the day of?

You can park just about anywhere once you are inside the track. Since Frank needs to know how many will be at the banquet, send the funding in now so he can plan ahead. At the old hotel the banquet room had limited seating, no ticket, no meal. Same rule at this show.

The registation is for one person, one car, one dash plaque, one T-shirt and one banquet. Two can ride into the track. All addtional stuff is alacarte. Send a note to Dragon@SpaceCoastFieros.com that you want an addtional banquet ticket.

Word is fierogirl's new engine is in and the car may be back on the road as soon as tomarrow, so it looks like we'll be there in a Fiero! I'm quite stoked. Just over a month to go.

Well I will be there but its going to be in a Saturn. Cant you just wrap it up in some muffler tape? My clutch in my V8 is making a noise and I dont see driving it to Daytona, my SE needs a new motor.
We should setup up a time for a PFF meeting place, I will be there between 12 and 2 on saturday.

Any of you guys have a nice digital camera? I was planning to fly down to cover the event for Domestic Driver E-zine, but it looks like I can't make it down there. If any of you guys can send me shots and info on the cars, I can create an article.
Thanks!

We can make this happen! Anytime we can promote our special car in any magazine is greatly appreciated.
Ron Hale President Suncoast Fieros of Tampa Bay Coordinator for the Florida Fiero Weekend Florida Fiero Council
Thanks Ron! This will give us a chance to introduce folks to Suncoast Fieros of Tampa Bay and the Florida Fiero Council, too. Feel free to send info on both.

Hey! What the heck kindf of mufflers are you running anyway?? I can replace one of mine for less than $20, ceramic coat it, and have it installed for less than $100. Come on, quit making excuses and get your Fiero over for the show!!
