But can't seem to get a reply from Norms Fibreglass is he still trading?

Is Kris Munson also still making them, does anyone know?

Yes Kris Monsoon is still making them..I've been running his lights for a few years and they are very nice and for only $250 complete.

Thanks for all the replies folks.

I also had an e-mail from both Norm and Kris.

Norm mentioned the hella 90mm round projectors I wanted to fit won't go into his and I guess this will be the same for Kris's units too.

So...... does anyone know whether the rectangular Camaro lights are avaialble for right hand drive?

If not, I'll need to get a new hinge assembly for the pop-ups - do Fiero Store sell them?

I'd prefer to fit the flushmounts though!

Hi Norm,

Sorry I've not had the chance to respond to your e-mail yet.

Regarding the LHD and RHD differences, for the UK the beams will have a higher section to them at the left hand side for reading road signs etc and the right side of the beam will be low on the road so that it doesn't dazzle oncoming traffic. I am not sure whether the standard lights you have are opposite of this - it makes sense that they would be the reverse of RHD. I do know that all LHD cars imported into UK do usually require conversion to RHD units. My pop up lights have been changed and now have H4 halogen units fitted and the glass lens projects beams suitable for RHD and I think they were the same as Toyota pick up truck and probably several other vehicles.

Would you mind me asking what model Camaro the lights you use are from because there must be some Camaros over here that use UK spec lights and I'll look into that through an owners club etc.

Many thanks,
Kevin

Kevin

the camaros (also grand prix, olds cutlass supreme and geo storm) during the mid-90s (93-97?) used 4351/4352 slim lights. when looking them up on the headlight computer in wal-mart i ask for '95 camaros. they run about $25 a lamp here.

Many thanks for those numbers, that's really helpful in my search.

Hi Guys,

Kris told me that he doesn't have a web site yet as he does the Fiero parts in his spare time which is getting pretty filled up!

Anyway, his e-mail addrsss is "kmunson56@netscape.net"

He's a really nice guy and has replied to me very quickly.

Cheers,
K

Kevin,

I have a pair of Chris Munson's original flush mount lights, I will sell you for $50 plus shipping. They are not DOT approved and do not include the aluminum panels to cover the old motor area and the wiring or the clear lenses. However, hey have the pegasus on them and are green, which means you'd either have to paint your car to match or paint the top side of these to match the color of your car.
You can get clear lenses from Kris. Let me know if you need his email address.
