A while back, I know I saw an table, or rundown of some sort, that had the weight of all engines, both stock and swap engines. I could have swore I saw it on Rockcrawls site, but I can't find it there. I also ran a search and cannot find it here either. So, if anyone even remotley knows what I'm talking about, if they could direct me there, that would be great.

Ok, let's try this.

Does anyone know the weight of the stock engine, and contendors for swaps. . . such as. . . lets say the 4.9. Although, I would like to know most of the weights. I just wish I could find that table.

You mean like this?
http://fp.enter.net/~rockcrawl/weights.htm

From website:

Transmissions- Automatic transmissions include torque converter.
Muncie 4 speed- 84.5 lb.
Isuzu 5 speed- 98 lb.
Getrag 5 speed- 101.5 lb.
Manual flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch disc (stock)- 35 lb.
TH125c 3 speed- 151 lb.
TH440T4 / 4T60 4 speed- 177 lb.
4T60E 4 speed- 186 lb.
4T65E 4 speed- 196 lb.
4T80E 4 speed- 296 lb.

Engines- All engines were weighed fully dressed as they would be installed in a Fiero, including starter, alternator, A/C compressor, and stock manifolds, unless noted.

Pontiac 2.5 liter Tech4- 302.3 lb.*
Pontiac 2.8 liter V6- 345-376 lb.*
Chevy 3.4 liter DOHC V6- 492.5 lb.
Buick 3800 Series II supercharged- 445 lb.
Cadillac 4.5/4.9 liter PFI V8- 371 lb.
Cadillac 4.6 liter Northstar V8- 468 lb.
Chevrolet small block V8- 404 lb. (aluminum heads and intake, no accesories, no water pump, no manifolds [bare engine])

* I have not weighed the Fiero 2.5 and 2.8 engines. These weights come from various sources on the internet.
The 3.4 DOHC and 4.6 Northstar engines are very top heavy due to the large heads and four cams at the top of the engine.

And these are weights that I had from other sources: (I recently posted them in this thread: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/058324.html )

The 2.8L weighs 388 lbs
A 3.4L pushrod with a carb weighs 375 lbs
A 3.4L DOHC weighs 468 lbs
A 3800SC weighs 450 lbs
4.9L weighs 395 lbs
Northstar V-8 weighs 425 lbs
Chevy ZZ4 crate engine weighs 440 lbs (shipping weight, everything but carb and exhaust manifolds)
Chevy LT1 with iron heads and TPI weighs 472 lbs (for a carb'd engine subract 5-8 lbs)
The Fiero manual transaxles weigh about 72-75 lbs
The 6-spd G6 trans should weigh in around 85-90 lbs. (I'll see if I can get Archie to weigh one )
The TH125 auto weighs about 125 lbs
the 4-spd auto transaxles weigh about 135-145 lbs

NOTE: engine/trans weights are dry, and without torque converter and clutch assemblies.

So somehwere in all this we should be able to come up with a table or a way to confirm/deny what we have so far.

That's EXACTLY what I was looking for! Why the hell couldn't I find it.

Anyway. THANK YOU! That's going to help a bit for my presentation.

I'd give ya a plus, but I already gave you one a while back, when I was looking for help with a 3.4 swap .. .which looking back now, maaay have been the smarter choice. Since my 4.9L never wants to run right.

Thanks again,
Eric

See, that's the funny part. And don't get me wrong, I'm going to bring that up.

The way I see it, I'm going to start the presentation with two things:

1st, an apology for anything and everything, since this will be my first time publicly speaking. [Still a bit nervous about that]
2nd, I'm going to say that, although I'm giving this presentation, my car doesn't run. So whatever I did. . . DON'T DO THAT, and your car should be fine.

But then again, given the high sense of humor in that group , Maybe they won't find it as funny as I do.

Although I won't be able to attend the meeting, Don't be nervous. The first time I did a meeting I was nervous, but the members who attended and the NIFE board members will help to make you feel comfortable. It's not bad at all.
Just pretend they are all your friends.
