Good to see you back, Earl, and working on the car. I hope your health problems are behind you now, and you can enjoy getting the GT to the point where you want it to be. My daughter is going to SLU in St. Louis now...maybe someday, I'll get a chance to stop by and see the car in person when I'm there seeing my daughter. I've enjoyed this thread...hope that you're able to add more to it!
A little update. As you see I changed my ID. I'm using my name instead of what type of car I have since I have 3 Fieros now.
Been working on my GT again finally, now that it's warmed up. I've been doing some polishing and reinstalling the trim.
I got a few new items for the car. Kris Munsen sent me a set of front parking light covers to give the aero nose a better look. I installed new weather seals on the T-Top glass this weekend. I messed up the old ones when I switched over to a new set of Glass tops. I got the Radio backplate kit with the "FIERO GT" backlit in red for my Alpine stereo. I also got the new clear front marker lenses so the marker lights would show up better with Kris's covers. A new glove box for the passenger side, looks very nice.
Still need to repaint the rear bumper, didn't get all the old clear off in those hard to get places along the trim and rear reflector area, and I decided to stick with the stock gas door so I need to paint that as well.
I also had to realign the doors a little, the molding didn't match up in the middle even, thou the door closed fine, it just bothered me so I got the passenger side done today, I'll do the drivers side next weekend.
I need to get pics of the car, it will be nice next weekend I'll take a few then and post them.

I finanally put the new radio surround that $Rich$ made possible
I've been polishing out the GT, but I'm not ready to show it yet. Very close to being done with the cosmetics. Next will be the engine, which I've been talking with Darth Fiero about the programing for the Turbo. I've got a nice tach out of a Sunbird that is identical to the Fiero tach except the boost gauge is built into it. I think it will look sharp when installed.
O what the heck, here is the GT in the Garage after replaceing the sway bar.
I still need to paint the rear bumper. I planned on doing it this last weekend, it didn't happen.
I'm also waiting on a set of new rear qtr windows from Doug. I'm getting factory tint with the dot matrix and the "GT-R" logo.
I have a set of qtr windows if someone needs them. I dropped the drivers side and chipped the lower corner a little, thats why I'm getting the new set. Besides I slways like the GT-R logo It gave me a good excuse to get a new set.

Yep, fine minds think alike, I can't take credit. I bought the car like that out of Canton MA and had it shipped to St. Louis. It was the selling point for me when I bought it. I really liked the scoops and wheels, plus it was already lowered 2".
I noticed you have different size wheels. What sizes are you running? I have 16x9 rear with 225R50 and 16x8 front with 205R55 Michellin V4's all the way around.

i can't think of the sizes off the top of my head. The car is currently in Hawaii and I am in Iraq I also bought my car the way it is. :P I can't some really wide tires on the back. Definatly helps with the grip problem the V8 creates

Bump to see some more pics of the car, Looks awesome. How hard was it to do those front fender vents you made from the T/A? I really like the look of those on there.
I haven't posted anything on my car in a long time. I haven't done much with it. I repainted it white with blue pearl and decided I don't like the color as much as I thought I would. So I've made the decision recently to repaint it Yellow. I've always liked yellow but I was affraid the gray interior wouldn't match. After seeing some pics of Yellowstones car I decided I liked it. I'm getting ready to paint my sons 86 SE so I'm going to do mine again at the same time.
The engine is another area I haven't decided on. I keep going back and forth between V8 and 3800 S/C. I think thats what is holding me up more than anything. I have a habit if I'm not sure about something I will let a project sit until I've made up my mind about it. Thats the case with my GT. I want it just prefect in what I think it should be. I don't really mind so much I've had it 5 years and it's not finished. I'm more afraid of what I will do when I finish it.

Where did you get pegasus emblems? Are they caps or stickons?
I know it's been a long time since you postd the question. I got them from Rodney before GM came down on him for using the Fiero logo and print. They are gelcoat caps and had a adhesive on the back the I attached to my center caps.

I haven't posted on my car in a long while. The car has been sanded down again, easier this time, no uncured primer coat to deal with. In the next month or so I plan on painting the GT yellow.
I also am picking up a 3800 for the GT. I like the performance of my wifes 3800 in her Impala and with the Fiero wieghing about 1000 lbs less it should be a nice little road car.
Also I did buy a set of C&C F-82 weather seals for a T-Top. I ended up cutting about 4-5" out of the seal in the middle of the turn under the glass to make it fit. THe NON-CJB glass seals I have match the angle of the F-82 seals perfectly. The only problem is at the front where the glass turns I had to make a little modification but it works just fine. So I paid $192 I think for the set, a heck of a lot better than $700+ and I'm a happy camper.
I also installed a bumpsteer kit which wasn't to hard.
All I need now is to get rrunner (Paul) to make up some more sway bars for the back of my son's 86 SE.
