Not yet ya'll. Don't have a place to store a car for the work. I'm shock this post hasn't hit the archive yet. It's been a while since I've been able to post anything on here.

Is there anybody out there attempting to do the swap? I know I can't be the only one.....

Yes, I'm going to do this. I have purchased a first generation dash without the air bag. That's partly my interest in keeping this thread alive.

How does the dash fit? I know on the 4th gen F body dash, you have to fiberglass extensions to cover up a hole between where the dash ends, and the windshield... Is there any cutting or fiberglassing necessary?

Also, what's the difference between the stealth dash and the 3000gt dash?

Have a look at my thread starting on This Page

As far as I can tell there is virtually no difference.

fiberglassing? awww man.....

Why can't something nice just drop in? Or require trimming, not adding material?

by the way, does anybody have the gauges working? I read the speedo works no problem, what about the tach? And can it be recalibrated for I4/V8?

You know, the way your extensions are located... Maybe you can turn them into 4x6 speaker flushmounts? Might have to remove more material, but a cap/cover would make more sense there if it was there for a speaker.
