Being busy is no excuse for not shipping out parts that someone has payed for. If you dont have enought time to ship the parts ASAP , then you shouldnt be selling them. Not to mention, $970.00 is alot of money to be messing with. Hope this gets worked out for the buyers sake.

yea, he has been pretty busy i guess, give him a while. i bought a harness from him and didnt hear from him for a while, but he eventually contacted me.

I had a similar experience with him (but for a lot less money) . I really don't think he's crooked, he just isn't very well organized and will need lots of prodding. I prefer to do business with others now who ship when promised however.

That's the second time you've mentioned that. There's also a thread in O/T that's a few months old. Either you told him or you didn't, but the fact remains that it's been several months, and that person still hasn't heard from him.

Matt told me that he shipped the harness to mrjohnishome. I had asked him about it when I saw the thread in O/T a month ago and he said he was late sending it out.

Matt contacted me, he's been on vacation.

Ugh, and he stopped responding to PMs again - last one dated October 18th. Anybody have any more information on this guy? I need to call him or something - it's been too long for him to sit on my $970.

I'm having the same problems. He recieved my money in July and still no parts. Derangedsheep is a friend of his and said he is very busy. Still not a good excuse to sell parts and not deliver, though.

On July 16 he said he had my cert cheque and would send the parts out in a "few days"

It is interesting how folks jumped in right away and defended Mattm. I read he is a good guy, he will not rip you off, and he has been very busy.

All of it sounds pretty pathetic in my opinion... good guys do not steal from forum members. If he took nearly a thousand bucks from someone, then his JOB should include shipping the part, or get the cash back to the person he took the money from. Three months is way too long to wait on a part. In my book his behavior makes him a thief.

I hope it works out for those that he took cash from and are still waiting on parts.

Derangedsheep has talk to him on a few occasions for me, hasen't worked yet. Last I heard Mattm was sick, not sure if that is a good excuse on Mattm's part, considering its been like 4 months or so now.

I got one e-mail from him after I saw his "I'm back" thread and then nothing.

I got a couple private messages then nothing, again. I lost my job and need to pay tuition for spring semester... I need my money back.

Well, I haven't heard back from him in months now. Funny how many threads involve Matt....

Mattm tried to buy a Fiero from me in January. Said he had $500 at the time and needed a car to drop his 3800 into. Good thing I checked up on the guy. Sorry to hear about the problems. I know how it feels to lose more than $1000 because of a dishonest seller.

mattm is also trying to buy wheels and parts for his gtp over there so he apperently has no plans to pay back or ship anyone there stuff.

Hey, thought it was time for an update.

Matt mailed me the first $100 of the $970 he owes me, via money order. It's a start!

Matt paid the $100 and ran. His number's been disconnected, and he's not online anymore. He still owes me $870 and I don't know what to do.
