Tinton- I'm glad you didn't wait until the last minute on those struts! It's too bad the PO didn't put new struts on the back, but he cheaped out and only bought new shocks for the front! See you in Cherokee! OBTW the Best Western served a decent lunch when I ate there this summer.
I just installed new shocks and struts and it sure did make a difference for me, I'll be coming over Sat am to join in on the run, I only live 45 min from Cherokee so no need in getting a room over there, won't be staying for the dinner as I have a date with the TV to watch UT kick some gater tail.

My 11 year old son and I will be there in my 88GT late Friday afternoon. Can't wait to cruise the "Dragon" again. I missed last year's event. I will coming through Cleveland, Murphy, and Nanathala Gorge (the scenic route) off of I-75 outside of Chattanooga. I plan to leave Huntsville around noon Friday. Paul

Well, I'm not going to be able to make it. Having some family issues that I have to deal with this weekend. I just called and cancelled my reservation, so if anyone needs a room, one just became available.
I'll email Joe to let him know so I can still get my T-shirt.
Take lots of pics for us poor souls who can't make it.

So that's what the dam looked like? After three roadside repairs, we had "run for the motel or miss dinner." I do have some pics but I never have figured out how to post them here. Just the same, I had a GREAT time, and I plan on going back next year!

Believe me It felt like something was missing with me this past weekend. Some kind of empty feeling. I did get Arlene's 88 GT painted. I may try to go down this weekend to make up for it.
And Got my new Dubs mounted

Man I have been wanting to make this since I got my Indy in 04. But I gotta get the car ready for it next year. The belt is an issue now along with some wiring issues. I can't wait for it next year it is my goal. How many auto dukes made the run and how did they do?

Appreciate the pics, seems to be the closest I'm gonna get to being there! This is the 5th or 6th year I have PLANNED to be there and something came up to prevent it, seems to be getting progressively more serious every year. LOL
Looks like a blast, may have to make a trip up just for the heck of it when time, money, health, and car allow.

I just bought some photos from kill boy.. I got the photo above and I am getting it at the size of 24 by 24... I think that is going to be a big photo of my car
