I am sure this exists in the archives, but I am having trouble finding it. I have heard reference to several Fiero's with Second Generation "ducktail" spoilers molded onto the back. Where can I look for some pictures of this mod on a completed and repainted fastback Fiero? Thanks.
I've got a picture at home I could post. Don't know who it belongs to though. Eventually, my car will have that spoiler on the back. It's just kind of slow-going on the project right now.

The one on the red Fiero looks to be from an '82 - '92 Camaro. I have one from a '73 Camaro that I am going to put on my Formula. http://www.fierocountry.us

The silver car is from Fiero Warehouse. It is an old IRM design that Doug got the rights to when he bought out IRM. Fibersmith might have copied one or created something similar but that wing design is almost as old as the Fiero itself.
The silver car in question is in one of the links at the top of the page.
The thread starter may also be looking for Curly's modified Camaro spoiler...

The spoiler on the silver car is the one that came with the 84 GT IMSA IRM car I just purchased a few weeks ago from the Mall. Once I have it installed and painted I'll post some pictures. This should be in about 2 weeks. Regards Bill

This will be available at some point in the future. Made from the back edge of a Fiero wing. Just have 1/2 of the mold done. As soon as I get a chance to lay up the other half of the mold and pull a couple parts, it will be available from Fierowarehouse.com. It will be a bolt on piece, but can be molded in if desired.

[stoopid questions] Will this fit on a notchback the same as a fastback? What will it cost? Can I have one for free ( had to try ) How much? Can you put me down for one if it fits on the notchie? [/stoopid questions]
There areplans to make one for the NB also, but I'll point out the obvious, the fast back version is not finished yet and the NB isn't started yet, so by the time it IS available, you might not be into Fiero's anymore . Won't know what they will sell for until after a couple have been pulled to see how much time and material will be needed. Possible there will be different versions, at least two, one with a bottom so it can be bolted on the deck, and one that's just "open" on the bottom, so it can be molded in. The open version will be about 1/3 less than the bolt on. This is stricktly a guess, but I'm thinking the most expensive version will go somewhere around $150, and the bottomless one about $100, but again, just have to wait and see, could be more, could be less, time'll tell, it always does!

If its available witin a year put me down for a bolt on one, although I will still mold it as well . If its gonna be longer I may make my own as long as i dont ruffle any feathers.
Glad to hear you plan to keep your Fiero around! I'm hopeing I will get a chance to lay up the other half of the mold in the next month and be pulling parts before the end of August, but can't promise at this point.
I or Doug Kinney will post on here when the parts are available. I'll remember that you want one along with wade, and reserve the first couple for you guys, how's that?
Thanks for your interest, hope we can fix ya up before too much longer.
Ned Flanders srikes me as a complete waste of cocaine. lol Indeeedily deedily doo he is. For all of you hard-core Ned Flanders fans, the both of you know who you are, I apologize if I've offended. I'm just kidding (satan's spawn) about Ned Flanders. I'm sure that he's a really nice guy (antichrist) and that just being in his presence (rather have a labotomy) is the most pleasureable experience one can have. ROTFLMAO

I really like that! Please put me on that list as well. The bolt-on version, please
Take care. I spoke with Doug at the swap meet. I hope everything is going well for you and yours.

Your car gave me the inspiration to do mine that way. But I'm not as skilled as you obviously are, so I'm going to wait until someone sells the bolt-on version.

Doug's told me of your difficulties at home in the past. I can kind of relate. Things will get better. Always know that there are those of us on the forum you can talk to when your nerves get a little frazzled. Above all, don't feel like you're being selfish if you occasionally take some time to yourself. You're no good to the other person if you're down for the count. Good on ya mate and you and yours are on my prayer list if you don't mind.

Got mine in the mail the other day. I don't have a bottom on mine because I know I'm going to mold it to the car. I'll take some pics and post 'em tonight.
