Brian I'm glad you got it back and can't to see it. My paint job cost me 350.00 paint and primer and 100.00 for my bother to spray it and buff it. Bill
Your not a true salesman......you do not have a remainder of a car, you have a kit body candidate over 50% prepared with most body panels removed. Rear calibers already removed for the BIG brake upgrade after completing the engine swap. Hate to hear the word "cut" without "salt corrosion". If I still had 3 acres.....50' x 80' with House , car trailer and two other vehicles on it really discourages another project.

22.5 hours to meeting at Hooter's

ROFL, i'm just tring to get the thing out of my garage. Someone come and get it Plz lol.
Been kinda holding off replying in this thread until I knew for sure. Looks like the whole family will be coming in 2 Fieros. I was hoping to be able to bring the 88 Junkyard save, but had a brake caliper seize on it's way to the alignment shop today. I guess it's gonna be my ZR-2 kit and my son's 86 GT.
See ya there!

It is looking like a good turn-out for 5pm. Had a guy stop today at my place. He told me he has an '87gt pearl orange with scoops and aero effects. Hopefully he will show it to me though he apparently won't be coming today. I see three others and I know of an Indy here in Seymour alone.

Within a mile radius of me there is at least one formula and a notchback. + my 2 GT's. The formula is less then a block away.
Anyone up for cruising down US31 after Hooters? I'll be cruising with some people from indycarz.com if anyone wants to join up.
Darn, seems everyone was leaving when i got there. passed a white GT in the lot on the way in.. didnt see anyone else.. ended up following a yellow formula down 31 on the way home.. ( i live down there, i really wasnt stalking ya )
Though it was cool not being the only one on the road for a change. saw a couple of people point as they passed.

Tons of fun chatting with everybody, like always. I do feel kind of bad that I still didn't have my Fiero put together for this one, but I promise it will be back on the road!
Fun cruising roads...the gears in my head are already turning, I want to drive a route or two first, but I'd like to put something together for next May or something. I'm thinking meeting up at the West Hill shopping center (IN 46 and I65) and then taking 46 to Bloomington and get something to eat there, then take 446 down to US 50 to Seymour and 65 back up to the shopping center. Should be about 3 hours worth of driving. Maybe 4 hours total (maybe less, it should only be about 45 minutes or so per leg).
A shorter, and maybe more interesting cruise might be 58 to 135 to 46.
I'll make a new post once it gets closer to May and I've been able to drive it.

I was going to make it, but I ended up going to the hospital with my mom because a severe headache after recovering from a heart attack. She's back home now and should be alright. I met bobby and a few of his friends a couple nights ago, and we'll have a great turnout for IRP events in the spring. He and I have similiar L67 swaps, his friend plans to build a 383 stroker, and his other friend plans a swap in an 85 Fiero, and yet another called which had a 4.9. I'm not sure who might be on the list, but sorry I didn't get to see you guys and really sorry I didn't get to see Hooters.

Could have been me except that I think Danville crew had a white one also. I drove straight out onto 31 via the driveway just north of the Hooter's parking lot.

SR45 between Bean Blossom and Bloomington, SR135 south of Morgantown past Brown County State Park down to SR50 or so, anything that follows a river (the Ohio River, Indiana side and Kentucky side). Ky side may actually be more interesting.
I wish I'd gotten there early enough to look at everyone's cars!

If you passed by a red/grey GT then it was me.. I came in the north entrance by petco, but when i didnt see anyone still in the lot i kept going.
I agree those roads down in browncounty are cool. Used to drive down there a lot when i was a kid.

Yes, that must have been me. You must have been looking at my car and missed the solid line of Fieros to your right as you drove by. They were in the first row southwest of the 4-way stop just as you drove in. When you met me I was turning west at the 4-way to grab a parking spot behind all the rest, that was pretty close to 6pm.

Well been following this threads since it started. Would have liked to made it but I won't have red till next weekend. Oh well. Sound like you all had a good time. A criuse in southern IN would be nice too. I think the roads on the IN side of the Ohio river are better than KY side or at least between Cincinnati and Louisville. One of the most adventureous roads in S IN is 150 from Shoals to Paoli ,goes threw Hoosier Nat Forest. Just thought I'd trow in my 2 cents
