Ok... I hit a deer last night in new york with my 86' gt... it wasn't bad actually but i really did a number on the deer... My front fender is cracked and my trim on that fender is messed up. Those a-pillars are strong as hell. I had my 19 month old son in the car with me so my heart did skip a beat. but he's ok... the car barely moved. It really sucked waiting 2 hours for a cop to show up and finish the job. It was a large doe. i have some pics of her (before steaks) and i'm going to pick up my car later so i'll post pics of that too. (anybody know where i can get a pass fender for really cheap? preferably red!) so now i'm thinking on putting "Deer Slayer" on my back window... so what do you guys think? should i?
ok i haven't had a chance to go get some pics yet but the only damage was the front fender, the front trim light and the antenna... not to shabby. anybody else have deer stories with thier fiero's?

My son did a great paint job on his GT and before he even got to buff it out, he hit a deer on interstate at 70mph. Lost the passenger mirror, radio ant and cracked all the paint on nose. Other than that, Fiero 10 points, Deer 0. I doubt that many other cars would have faired near as well. Oh, it did scare the hell out of him!

Well, I don't have a red one...I don't think....I'll have to check my parts car if it istill there when I get home next week. I do know I have a black one off an 85 notchie if that will work. It'll be cheap, probably 25.00-30.00 plush shipping (which shouldn't be too much. It'll be sometime next week or the week after before Iget released off deployment, but if your interested, I'll get it pulled as soon as I get home. Let me know

ill have to check for a red one, BUT if you end up needing one, i normally ship next day, and ill take $50 shipped on a fender, You may have to drill the holes into the fender for a GT ground effect, but im sure i can come up with a red fender, just without the ground effect.

hit an already dead deer the other night in a F-350 superduty diesel, with about 12'000 lbs on a trailer behind us.. the deer exploded when it got hit by the front tire... we didnt feel anymore bumps after the first one , and it didnt even jerk the wheel. .. it made a mess on the truck haha.

Sorry i still haven't had a chance to take some pictures of the damage... i will soon enough... Thanks Thumper and m0sh but i got one from the fiero store used... it's not in that bad of shape. as for that truck... damn... thants rough.
