Look guys we are all more than aware of what did and didn't go down, hell, I am even sorry for what did happen to the guys he owes..... The point of THIS thread was to get to the bottom of the 3.4 DOHC and it's potential.....DKOV was one guy who was suppose to have good success with this motor, I mean saying that you got another 80 to 100 hp outa it without turbo isn't a joke at all!! AND ALL WE WANT TO KNOW is, is this claim probable! From reading 60degreev6.com it JUST maybe!!

Yes, the motor that IS in the soundfile is from a cutlass, and NOT DKOV's car!! One of the links that Gokart Mozart posted, I forget which, he even addmitted to it, himself! I've been told his had sounded just like it, and I HAVE NO reason to NOT believe it........

We that haven't done buisness with DKOV all feel for you songman! But geez man, you don't have tp piss in our cheerios over wanting to research the 3.4 DOHC.....IN fact what I should've done was to start a thread about the DOHC itself....I was wrong, and should've anticipated this was gonna happen..... I am truely sorry for bringing up old memories!!

guys you knwo what, if you g uys would read what i wrote youd know why he cant pay you back, and again im sure he didnt mean to steal he just cant afford to give everyone what they got. again im sure if he could hed pay everyone back but with 4 kids and a job that went sour, its not easy. please leave the poor guy alone hes not coming back and prob never will. so please stop, you wanna talk negative go on the other forum thats what its for.

if he ain't got no job, then how in the hell does he participate in all those rally events. with all the money he owes why doesn't he sell his rally car and try to make restitution. hopefully, Songman can get legal action against him and put him where he belongs.

Fieroman... So Scott is having a bad time so I am just supposed to forget that he stole $5000 from me? It has been years! I have offered many 'deals' for Scott to be able to trade me out stuff so it wouldn't be cash out of his pocket. He always agreed but always had some excuse why he couldn't do it for a few weeks. When the few weeks passed he had always disappeared again. All I EVER asked of him was to stay in touch with me but he didn't do it. Everyone has problems in life. Good guys pay their debts. I have kids and a family too and he took $5000 away from them. Why are his family and his problems more important than mine? Obviously he hasn't stolen from you so you can't relate. In all the ways I have tried to come up for a way for Scott to get square with me, he has never one time offered a suggestion. He just gives me sob stories. You can bet if I owed people money I would be doing whatever it took to get them paid back. My toys would be the first thing to go. That doesn't even occur to Scott.

As Tom says, Scott always says he has no money to pay us back but we are constantly seeing his name on SCCA and RC car sites where he is very active. Those are not cheap hobbies. If his family was in such bad shape he wouldn't be doing those things. What we have here is a man who doesn't know how to set priorities, and doesn't have enough character to do the right thing. He would rather have fun.

As was mentioned earlier, his 355 was on Craigslist recently for $6500. The car was supposed to have been mine in one of our 'deals' to pay me back. Even so, when I found out it was on Craigslist, I sent him an e-mail and offered him $7000 for it... $500 more than he was asking!!! The $5000 he owes me and $2000 more. He wouldn't even respond to me as usual. That tells me that even if he sold the car he had no intention of paying me back. He wants $6500 in cash so he can just continue his life and screw the people he owes.

We're not talking about a couple hundred bucks here. We're talking big bucks and people telling us how bad his life is and that there is no way he can pay us so we should forget it are barking up the wrong tree. How bad is his life going to be and what is his family going to do when he is in jail? I have told him repeatedly that I don't want to do it but he still won't call me and work something out with me. This is his own fault, not mine.

Pavo, I am sorry for your thread... The point I am trying to make is that Scott is a liar. He didn't do anything to the 3.4. He had this other guy do it and never paid him for it so he doesn't even have the motor. I know! It was supposed to be mine too! All of what Scott said about the DOHC was conjecture. It hadn't been proven yet.

EMC.. Please do go 'find out'... Scott won't deny it because he knows I have over 4 years worth of e-mails from him showing what he said he was going to do for the money, what he said he did and never actually did do, and also all the ways he has agreed to make it right but never did. They also show that I used to defend Scott and offered to be patient as long as he stayed in touch with me and didn't start hiding. He couldn't even do that. Go ahead and find out.. I'll be waiting here for an apology.

I have no dog in this fight since he owes me nothing, but the attitude of leave him alone is is a good guy bugs the hell out of me. Good guys do not steal from others, and if he is driving around in his Supercharged Durango, have time and money to spend on rally cars, then he should find a way to pay those he owe money to. He also recieved money for parts that were never shipped. What happened to those parts?

He belongs in jail... bottom line. He gets zero sympathy for me since he is doing nothing but ducking hiding, and seemigly enjoying his life on the hard earned cash that he took from others.

'Songman" Dale, I'm truly sorry about how things ended up with DKOV. Shows how long I've been out of the loop. For others out there... Songman & I had an internet argument (couple of pages long) where Songman defended DKOV, stood up for him in the belief that DKOV would come through. Songman defended him through lots of squabbling, and this DKOV just sticks it to him.This prick (DKOV) owes big $$ to more than a few. A certain Tiawanese guy that, had he been on US soil, would have removed his fingers, 1 by 1, until fully paid. If that had been me, I'd have spent another $500 and 'REMOVED' him!
I feel for you Dale, a person with your faith in others, surely doesn't deserve that.

Thanks for saving me from having to type that all out, pretty much covers how I feel about it with the exeption that I would question the character of those that are so quick to tell folks to lay off the guy. I've had to get rid of 4 Fiero's in one fell swoop to meet financial obligations, sold toys (guns & musical equipment), whatever it took. Worked cutting grass and cleaning gutters, did whatever I could and pushed my wants and sometimes needs to the rear of the line. Sometimes being an adult sux, but it is the right thing to do and for me there is no other option.

Thanks Sandy. I have always tried to believe that people were inherently good. Twice on this forum I have gotten burned. DKOV was obviously the biggest at $5000 (thank goodness I got my two cars back from him or it would have been worse!) and RemixGT got me for $375 a few years back. I would still rather get ripped off from time to time and not let these criminals make me not trust people in general, but they have made me more careful when dealing though. I just hate seeing people say that DKOV is having a hard time so we should just forget about him ripping us off. His hard time hasn't even begun yet as far as I am concerned. Hard time is jail and that is where he is headed unless he calls me and makes some arrangement on what he owes me.
