As a reference point... LSD (a well known VDC manufacturer in the Sport Compact scene) says that their specs are open 30 degrees horizontally, then 40 degrees vertically: http://www.lsd-doors.de/content_e/20_Technik/funktionsweise.php

those are basicly the same as decah...etc. and mine are made to go on the inside of the fender instead of the outside (slightly tucked in...we'll see though) about an inch above the hing... and it will open 20-30°... then almost straight up and down....

lol sorry but i should be able to start selling by the first of the year middle of Jan. at the latest..

mainly i have to work out the $$ to get started... good news is i think i actually have my final design and it should be working tomorrow. one of the problems is my friend doesnt have a vertical mill and that is one of the things i'll have to pay someone else to do... so i'll have to have money up front, otherwise i'd be able to start right away. you'll see why i need a vertical mill when i post pics tomorrow .. just used a plasma cutter and lots of grinding for the prototype, wont make them like that and sell them though..

anyone lookin for a 3rd gen camaro?

no, URETHANE! lol... maybe

the next set will look better... if someone can find 3/8" and 1/4" sheets of titanium for me for a decent price i might consider still making them out of titanium... but i havent had any luck...

oh and i just found that board in my garage and it already said that on there...

Those are the same pics as before :P, wheres the fiero to put them on? I am curious on how they will perform... Any ideas of where your (2) shocks will mount? I just don't see a place for them on your hinge, and make it tuck in under the fender... Its harder then it looks isn't it?

EDIT - Well I gave you a + for effort. Seems like you are at least trying! If I was a jackass in my previous posts, I will take that back. Now you just need a fiero

there will be a little more room on that arm for the struts to mount, one will be mounted towards the top of the wheel well in the fender and it will mostly help the door come down and there will be one below the hinge (by the bottom stock mounts) that helps it up and stay up (both help it stay up), both will be mounted in the middle part of the main arm on the hinge... they will perform well i used the strut idea from another kit that works really good..

Does the hinge automaticly swing in two different directions and stop itself from moving as its not suppose to (Going up before fully up, or etc) , or does it require your effort to push it out an up... Wondering because if you have a blond girl in the car and she just lifts the door with the window up it might hit the fender, or even the roof if she pulls hard enough..

I'm very interested but will wait until I hear from some people who have installed them. The shipping, VAT and import duties add to the bill and once here, I can't easily ship them back if there something wrong. You can put me on the "2nd wave" list...
