This spring there will be a new FAST Run, in the hills of Central Virginia. We here at Va. Fiero Club are going to be driving the beautiful and curvy roads of central Virginia this spring. We invite any and all Fiero enthusiast to join in the fun activities of such an event. This is the early planning stages of our Fast Run. We would love to hear your inputs and thought as to what you would like to see and do while here. We are planning the FAST route now. As of this moment we are basing the run out of Waynesboro, Va. Joey and I will be driving the first parts of the route next weekend. Anyone who would like to go on the planning/ test runs please let us know. Anyone with interest please email me or post on this thread your thoughts.

Here is the first map idea that we will be running next weekend to test out. Any one want to try with us. Right now we have 3 cars for next weekends test run. About 140 miles total.

We are so early in planning yet, that nothing is final. What I was planning is a full weekend. Everyone come in on Fri. We will have a run on sat and then another small one on Sunday. May even do a small Fri. run and then the big run on sat. That would everyone time to get home Sunday. Also so do to what looks to be conflicting time schedules. I think that we are going to move the date up a bit to March 30th - April 1st. The leaves should be in bloom on the Blue Ridge Parkway. A few portions on the Run will be on the parkway. So lots of scenic views and pic opportunities.
Well the first test went real well. Minus the fact that one of the roads turned into a gravel road. So there is going to be a bit of tweaking to the middle part of the route. Here's a few pics from the day.

I have yet to finalize the hotel. Should have it done it with in the month. It looks as if I'm going to be tied up for the next couple of weeks in your area. I'll be doing some work in Gwiinnett. I'll be down there tomorrow night.

Jesse... Sorry. Been the week from hell. Had to work 12 hours Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Then forgot about this thread until now. I'm tied up all day today, and working Monday and Tuesday. How long you going to be here?
