Finally finished. I wanted to share the results with you all. I'm very happy with the seats. What a great kit. I've never had a kit so complete with everything you need including the hog ring crimp tool. I only needed to purchase some duct tape to patch a tear in the driver's seat core.
Terrific product Mr. Mike. Thanks a million!

Well, got them installed yesterday!! (Gotta love El Nino, 50 degrees today). All in all, maybe took me 4 hours but half of that was probably running downstairs to review part of the install video.
Thanks for an excellant product Mr. Mike!!! Literally everything was included to install these down to the razor blades and leather conditioner. Now I just need to get new carpet because that old stuff just don't look right anymore.
Looks like the sale is still happening so now is the time to get a set before it ends!!!

I fully intend to, After placing the seats in the car I realized how I seriously need new carpet so I was planning on dealing with the seat tracks when I take the seats back out for that, that and I'm waiting for warmer weather as the wife frowns on spray painting in the dining room

Spray 'em in the bathroom with the fan on... then spray some "Febreeze Air Freshener" Bathroom was Kev's idea... air freshener was mine
Just a reminder bump for the New Years Sale. If you have been on the fence about purchasing these (like me until a couple days ago) Now is the time to take the plunge.
I've thought about ordering a set of Mr Mikes seats several times, but everytime I see pics of them installed, there seems to be a lot of puckering and loose looking leather. Are you suppose to use a hair dryer to shrink the leather for a better fit, or are you suppose to add foam? No disrespect to folks who have installed their own, but they dont look like they fit very well in a lot of pics I've seen.

Remember that most of these are being installed by first-timers. If you fill in the "divots" in your foam according to Mr. Mike's instructions and take your time to carefully fit the covers they'll come out very, very nice. Most folks run into some trouble with the bars / pockets - if you hog-ring them in the wrong position you'll have permanent wrinkles. Best way I've found is to get them as close as possible, put in one ring each then stretch the rest of the cover into place. If it fits smoothly, lift it up and put the rest of the rings on the bars. If not, remove the ring and reposition...
Just updating this thread as I still see Mr Mike has a few different sets on sale if you click the link on page 1, post 1. Anyway, I just got my driver seat done. Here is some before and after pics: The most difficult part was repairing the seat foam as it was seperating from the metal frame and repairing the left bolster which was thrashed. Overall I am very pleased. Great product. Mr Mike is also great to deal with.

Agreed. Some look SOOOO good. While others are lacking. I know I can do the install. But I don't know about the GOOD install. If I ever get them I gotta bring them down to Mr. Mike to do
