That's an awesome video. I think it's about time the Fiero starts breaking into the 11's regularly, the car is just to light to have excuses to be in the higher numbers. If an MKIV Supra can break into the 9's the Fiero with the .8 larger 90* motors should be catching up.

Nothing is sweeter than taking down a muscle car... Don't get me wrong, I love a Dodge (my dad has 2 '69 Darts in his garage and I have 2 Avenger E/S) but to be able to do it in something as good looking as a Fiero, is the cherry. Nice run and a very impressive trap speed.
Anyway I can save that to my hard drive?

The MKIV Supra is a straight six. Also, after they're done boring / stroking them I think they're up to 3.4L. Us fiero guys are limited to a.) our axles and b.) our transmissions. . .
2JZ-GTE's hold compression like no other, I know. They are well within 1,000HP ranges with easy modifications. That's why they hit 9's and 10's when they're build right. I know how hard that would be. I'm only saying I'd like to see more Fiero's catching up.

Zooomer says I could gain 1-2 MPH and 1-2 tenths with an intercooler. I would beable to run pump gas then. An intercooler would allow me to run 9.6:1 compression, and that would make more power. I am installing 3.69 gears and a upgraded input shaft this winter. That should help me run mid 11's non-intercooled. I will also be upgrading to 11.25" brakes to help hold me on the line. I am only launching at 2250 rpm because the stock brakes can't hold the car back even with 3000 stall convertor. I am aiming for 1.4x 60 foot times. That run was a 1.628.
Axles are: Left side: 1990-1991 Beretta 3.1L A/T axles with soft ride. Right side: Stock Fiero left manual transmission axle. These work with a 4T65 non-HD. I keep a spare set with me when I go to the track. They last about 5-10 passes then one breaks. I can change an axle in about 10-15 minutes now.
