Anyone up for cruising Friday or Saturday night down US31 from greenwood to downtown? Last night there was over 150 cars at the steak n' shake on US31 & Stop 11 at 1am lol. Most people start coming out around 9pm, so if anyone is up for it i'll be out.

If im not busy ill see if i can stop in about 9 this coming friday. Everyone normally just sit in the lot or is everyone in there to eat ( milkshake sounds good ) ?
Is there a destination downtown, or is it just a drive-by?
This also assumes my car is ok, seems i knocked a wheel bearing loose on the curves yesterday.. i can hear the rotor rubbing the dust shield and a bit of a rear-end wobble on stopping... I plan on replacing it in the morning but you never know. Grrrr if it isnt one thing its another ! Someday i need to put in that cradle i got from you last year too, ive been pushing my luck with it.

I hang out in the Colorado Steak House lot, not many people eat there. We mostly hang out and talk about cars then get a nice size groupe together and make a lap, cruise downtown and around the circle then back up. Then some people also setup races, but racing on US31 is plain retarted. Way to many cops. Saturday night there was a highly modded 3800SC fiero up there, quick as hell! Pretty much everyone that hangs out there is on Indycarz.com. Hope to see you guys up there!

I got a couple of shots, I also got a number of gas stations marked out for us for people who might need them.
Looks like the entire cruise route is about 100 miles, so if you have a full tank when you start, you should be able to make it. Should be about 2.5 hours or so (not counting any stops that people might have to make), the bit that Nurb was along for was actually more like 2/3s of the run
There are 2 stoplights in Nashville that may try to split us up (The first one not so much as the second), but if it's bad after nashville there is a spot to stop and wait for the rear guard about 2 miles up after the last one, and the shoulders are wide for waiting on in most places.
Another stoplight at 446 and 46, but the shoulder on 446 there is nice and wide.
446 and 50 is a stop sign, but again since these are highways the shoulders are wide, and on a Saturday afternoon, hopefully traffic isn't too bad.
Brownstown has 1 stoplight, and then Seymour is a mess of lights, but 50 is 2 lanes each direction in Seymour, so the people that end up ahead can just drive slow in the right lane and bug the rest of traffic

Interesting...I went to valonia on Friday to pick up my S10 (and a bed of misc. Fiero parts ) They had the light by the courthouse and a new one at the 4-way turning from east-west to north-south (south goes to county fairground). If Seynour is the ending, getting seperated is minor, almost everything in town is on 50.Any votes between tumbleweeds, applebee's, chili's and Ryans?
If Columbus would be the finish, I vote Buffalo Wild Wings!
I might have the GT driveable for long distance by then

That's towards the end of 446, right in the middle of the really fun part
I was thinking it would be neat for the lead car to get about a mile ahead of the rest of everyone and see if couldn't get a shot with a line of Fieros on the bridge

There are a couple of thumbnails on photobucket: http://s117.photobucket.com/albums/o62/User00013170/ but ill work on taking some more now that its HOT out ( warm to me is 50 ). Gonna have to charge the AC back up this week it looks like. And get the compressor reinstalled back into the blue GT. What happened to spring????
Ill check them out. I have to replace the ones in my blue GT, and just might go with something non OEM looking. Its still a ways out as there are other things it needs first, but doesnt hurt to think about it ahead of time.

Just so people don't forget to mark their calendars. June 2nd is still the target day, and as the weather gets nicer and nicer, I appreciate my little 2-seater more and more
I think I mentioned it before, but with 2 cars it basically takes 2 and a half hours. I'll plan things for 3 in case of fuel/restroom stops, etc. With Daylight Stupid Time in effect, it should stay light until pretty late. I was thinking of trying to meet up at 2 pm at the West Hill JayC parking lot with a final departure time (for folks running behind like me) of around 2:30.
That should put us back in Seymour by 5 or 5:30 easy for an early-ish dinner at the Ryan's there. Since it's a buffet, it should have something to suit most tastes, and 5/5:30 time frame should be early enough for a big group to get seated easily.
If everyone could do me a favor and PM me that you're coming with cell phone info (just in case) that I can get a list of who to expect and a way to get in touch in case we get separated on the cruise or anyone gets lost.
Also, anyone with Family Band radios are encouraged to bring them along, I will have 2. If we can have those interspersed, it will give us a really easy way to talk back and forth.

Well, it isn't looking good for me to make it but I will talk to xsrage and see if I can hitch a ride if he wants to go (I am sure he will). Tried to get my new purchase to start and it appears there may be a rod through the pan or block. Added a quart of oil hoping the knock the guy heard was just a lifter tapping or something. WRONG. It turned over fine but the fuel pump didn't start. We thought we would come back and bypass the relay or change the pump and try again. No. xs' went back and sent me an email asking how much oil I spilled when topping it off. "Uh, none?" I responded. Well there is a big puddle under the car. So...................I am looking for all the stuff to do an L67. I probably won't be done in time. Let me know if any of you guys have any info or insight. I am doing a lot of research but some input is always good. When I get started, if any want to come and hang out, there will be probably be a beer for you or root beer.
June 22nd...that may be enough time for me to have one to loan out. T-top se, 87 GT, V8 2m4, 84 2m4. Which one should I work on first?
Where are you at in IN? Once I get a little farther with my house, I may have some free time to help out if you need it. Plus, I'm not going to be too particular, if anyone wants to come and doesn't have a Fiero to drive, it's OK, I don't care.
June 22nd is the rain date, because I mean, who wants to have a cruise in the rain?

When I got the car, the inside part was unfinished fiberglass and could be seen from the inside over the engine grilles. I finished the insides of them when I was doing the Camaro dash install on the car.
Edit to say that unfortunately I will be working both the weekends that are planned so you all try have a great time without me, OK?

June 2nd. Hmmm. It is more of a funding issue then anything. I think I can get two road worthy by then. If not The t-top car just needs some front end work and it will be good to go. Anyone want an 84 four speed, or a 94 cutlass convertible?!
