I plan to bring my car, I did finally join the 21st century and installed fuel injection over the winter along with the newly rebuilt engine, and so far I am enjoying the much smother operation of the injection, especially the cold running no more blipping the throttle to keep it alive untill its warmed up, anyway here's hoping for great weather like last year

Just a reminder that we will be doing Dinner on Friday evening. We will meet at the Hall of Fame on Friday at 5:45 PM. If any one wants to caravn in from the Comfort Inn in Taylor, post here or drop me a PM. I plan on leading a group if interested.

I plan on driving up from Georgia, my sister lives in Detroit. I have a 1985 black GT that I've owned since 1988. I hope ya'll don't mind if we stop by. Really looking foward to the show. It's been years since I was in Michigan, it's my home state.
I wouldnt mind going to hang out with real fiero guys for once, as the only reason mine has any respect around here is because it faster than fancy lsx cars.
Only problem is, Its not painted, and by not painted, I I mean there is little to no paint on the car at all. and the whole "swap" is not all pretty and done up like everyone elses are. Any reason I should consider coming down with it?

There isn't any reason not to! Just to be there and have fun is all the reasons I can think one would need. (of course I say this not knowing if I'm going to be there or not)
We always want to see what other people have and we don't care what state the car is in. Be it a trailer queen, very clean mod, good example of stock, daily driver, or work in progess - it just dosn't matter we love them all.

I'm hoping to participate in both Friday and Saturday's festivities. Although my Fiero is a rebody/replica. Is it still ok to drive her around with the rest of the beauties? I don't know how partial the group is to "replicas", and I hope to not offend. Was there a group of modified/custom or replica Fieros?

Absolutely you are welcome. There is a class for re-body cars at the show if memory serves me correct. I look forward to seeing your car at the show and meeting you.

They seem to be pretty much Fiero purist's. The MFC is a bunch of very nice people though. Mods & customs get the same trophys as the matchbox derby cars. I'll see you there! It's a nice event!
Please post a ton of pics... Now that I live in Cali it's kind of hard to go to Dearborn. It was a lot easier when I lived in Waterford.
Which reminds me...
Anyone in Michigan looking to buy a house
4000 sq ft on a half acre waterfront property ( Silver lake in Waterford ) 3 stories / finished basement 3 car garage quiet neighborhood. Woodmode cabinetry in the kitchen two story decking off the back allowance for new carpet
ONLY $500,000 obo
In California this house and location would run for $2,000,000.00 at least
E-mail me if your interested. I'll send pictures to you.
Just got back from the show, saw lots of awesome cars, talked with some great people, and had a good time! Another excellent MFC show Saw and talked with a few forum members too, which is always nice! Bought some door hinge pins and bushings from Rodney, and forgot to get the door spring compressor
I WILL be bringing mine to next year's show!
I didn't take a camera this year, so hopefully someone will post pics.
Those are really sweet cars. I'm so jealous that I couldn't be there. It's nice to see the small detail differences that were made as an original thought.
How many people showed their car? Does some have a turnout count?
I wish engine swaps were much easier to pass the California smog bar assoc.

I was told we had 52 cars registered. There were approx. 12 more Fieros in the parking lot over the course of the day that were not registered. Last year we had 55 registered cars. We were pleased with the turnout. Thank you to everyone that attended. We look forward to seeing you in 2008!
It was a very nice weekend. Thanks to the MFC for hosting a really nice show. Also, thanks for those arranging the outing Friday night.........go-carts were a blast. See you all next year.............if not sooner. somebody gave me a flyer about a show in Iowa....I've got extra fliers if anybody needs one. ha ha ha.
Mark, thanks again for a great time!!
