Ok.. Here is the last, low boost, low rpm base run... 12 lb boost....

Before anyone calls bs or somthing... These are SAE corrected, just like the Datona runs...
The uncorrected sheet of the same run is higher not lower...

It was the dyno chuck did to show he had more power than crazyD's car.
When the LT1 had problems, Chuck rebuilt it into the 383 turbo he has today.
(I just did an article on Chuck's car for our club newsletter. )

Ok. If so then that makes a lot of sense. 383 troque monster!

The environment inside the dyno room was a lot better than it was in FL. Also this Dyno had a built in weather station that monitored & adjusted for the conditions inside the building.

Good. Then maybe we can say everybody was down by about 20/10? That would sound more on par with expected results on these combos.

Can you also post the uncorrected sheets and weather info? (if you have it)
There are multiple SAE correction factors, and depending on which one you use can cause a variance of 10%-20% easily.

Most dynos use the SAE J-607 correction factor which corrects to 60°F, 29.23 in-Hg barometric pressure.
(by comparison, most OEMs like GM use SAE J-1349, which corrects to 77°F, 29.92 in-Hg)

The SAE J-607 factor will give higher results than J-1349, which is why many people get more power than expected when they dyno bone stock cars and compare their RWHP to the manufacturer's rated HP.
