I was looking at this "Wrap Around Dash": http://pisafierohq.com/interiors/wrap-around_dash/

Just wanted some opinion's on it. Has anyone bought and installed this dash in their Fiero? Was the quality good? Has someone told you something bad about it?

thanks,

Justin.

P.S. - I tried searching for threads on this, but found nothing.

I really don't mean to thread-hijack, but it's kinda pointless to post multiple topics if both topics are dash kits from PISA, right?

Anyway - does anyone have more detailed pictures of the ZR-2 dash from PISA? The picture on their site isn't very detailed, but from what I can tell, it looks nice.

IMO - The PISA dash (and any dash that uses the stock Fiero Bezels) is kind of a waste. Even though i really love that wrap-around style!

I wouldn't mind a dash that re-used the stock Fiero guages, but maybe mounted behind, for a much better looking setup.
I do not see the point in spending a grand, or more, on a custom dash and then having to use the stock 80's bezels/switches...

For that kind of money, i would much rather spend another few hundred and have something with a bit more style.

Of course, I am going to be going through all of the work of making my own dash for my '87 GT! I do not think that there will be any observable stock pieces... except for the steering column, and that is just because I do not feel like re-enginnering something so simple. But, the coulum will be modified -no key

Should have looked at the PISA website first... The ZR-2 interior is not too expensive, and it (IMO) looks a whole lot better...

Not sure about Quality, but have you seen this interior??? http://www.kitcar.com/home2.html To me, that is just gorgeous! Of course, the Predator's interior looks pretty nice too...

I would contact them because if I remember right someone said that Pisa was having trouble getting someone to upholster their dashes, etc. because they lost the person who was doing it.
As I said, I don`t know this personally, I just read it on another post somewhere.

PISA told me that they were having trouble locating a good upholsterer and that the dashes were only available unfinished at that time. That was a few months ago and I have not heard anything from them since then.

Yes, in a way. But in my opinion, I like some of the elements in the original Fiero dash (gauge bezels, radio config, etc.), and this dash kit allows me to update the Fiero interior while keeping some of the elements I like. Guess its just based on what you like, not what everyone else likes...

...but yes, that ZR-2 interior is nice, and at a good price. I was looking at that too Acutally, I've been thinking about an interior upgrade for almost 4 years now.

Thanks to everyone that responded; I'll keep you posted on what I do.
