Several years ago,I saw a feature article in a Kit Car magazine of a stock wheelbase Fiero with a Ferrari 246 Dino replica kit on it. I've searched the net for hours trying to find any info and/or pics of this kit. I know it wasn't an exact replica...but it looked pretty cool if I remember right.
Anyone here have any idea at all what I'm talking about...or have I completely lost my mind?lol.

Norm...I'm assuming these aren't available any longer. You have any pics of completed ones other than the conv. one on your site? The one I remember seeing was a hardtop.

Hello its Jan.1987 on the cover at top. Still have the molds, we delivered a kit to a customer at this years Daytona Show. We only do the coupe version, but you can cut it down for the convertible version and make a top or leave as roadster. Cost is $4000.00 for the fiberglass and brackets lights are ferrari, bumpers are custom made. Thanks again Norm www.normsfiberglass.com

IMO, that has to be the best body kit for a Fiero I've ever seen. Pure SEX!
I want that body on an 88 chassis with either a Northstar or 350 with an ITB intake and fuel injection and a 6-speed. (ok, I need a cigarette after thinking about THAT one)
Any pics of the coupe for comparison?

The Dino was a bit of a dud for Ferrari, it suits the Fiero stance and wheelbase perfectly. My favorite rebody too, one you can actually drive and even see out of!

For a Ferrari, maybe, but it was always marketed as a Dino. But at 2400 pounds and 180 hp, I wouldn't call it a dud. I think the 246 with the transverse mounted DOHC V6 like the original Dino motor (later used in the Lancis Stratos to great success) compares quite nicely against the Fiero. I'd give up a room full of Fieros for a real Dino.
Hello thanks for the really nice comments, I will try to scan a few pictures up of a couple cars. And today the Dino is the fastest appreciating Ferrari there is (I know not the most expensive) And youre right the Dino is a sexy car. Thanks Norm www.normsfiberglass.com

What has been done to the dash in that car? I see part of the original, and part of something else. I think I like it... The brown stuff on the doors and center console though looks like someone skinned Fozzie to make them.
Absolutely beautiful Norm. Pure unadulterated sex on wheels!!!! I love my Ferrari 328 but I love this one even more!!! Thanks dcfox for bringing up this thread!
