anyways the Technical first corvette "Cerv2" was 800+ hp with AWD and was made a year before as a test vehicle for the corvette back in the early 50's.

Hope nobody beats me to it, but here it is:

Official commercial for the upcoming Audi R8:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeyfwSC1ZkE

That car is so sweet!!! Love how the commercial talks about the history and the Audi heritage.

Side note:
Commercials like these make me loose faith that GM will ever produce a Mid-engined (engine behind the driver) ever again. Then again I much rather have them wear a German, British, Italian, or Japanese badge anyways.

I saw one last week being tested on 58 hwy in the hills. I didn't or couldn't catch-up to the car due a semi-trailer blocking the fast lane while passing another semit going 2-mph slower. Anyway, I don't think the rear window looks good and won't become a "hit." J/k

It's nice to see that #020 looks damn near close to the Audi8 from the back. Pontiac is/was very, very stupid in not creating a new Fiero.

No mid-engine drive for the Callaway's C16 Corvette nor for the 2009 Ccorvette SS,....according to Auto mag May 2007 issue. It's a super charged 6.0 @ 616 ponies.
