The first pic is about a week old. I picked up a new model of the sparco "sprint" and its my driver seat now.

The reason why I suggest the sparco sprint is because they bolt up REALLY easy and they fit perfectly. The stock fiero brackets only need two holes drilled and you're good to go.

The downside is that this model is not reclinable but I figured with the firewall behind me, I dont get to recline much anyways. Plus these seats hold you in through those turns!

I second the Sparco recommendation. I've had Sprints in my car since December and they rock! They have so much more lateral support than the stock seats.

Yea, Sparcos rock. I'd prefer a 2 piece style that can recline, but those seats are awesome.

Corberau seats work really well in a Fiero too. They sit a little lower than stock seats.
I'm still torn about getting Recaro seats, but I'm too lazy to take measurements to see if they fit.

Putting in seats like these are also a good way to drop some weight because the stock seats weigh a ton and these weigh around 10lbs.

Sparco's are very stiff and uncushioned. In the end racing seats are something everyone (including me) wants to try out at least once in his/her life. In the end, they're just designed for racing and aggressive driving rather than comfort. One of the instructors at the track I go to (Thunderhill) puts a racing (drivers) seat in his car on race days (together with racing pads) and changes it back to stock the next day when he gets home. He doesn't think the racing seat is comfortable for DD's (daily drivers.)

That would be my plan as well. I would buy one. When its time for a race both seats (driver and passanger) would come out and one race seat would go in. You would lose 60+ lbs on race day but not lose the comfort the rest of the time. Great support but no comfort.

By the way all you need is a 13mm boxed end rachet wrench. In and out in about 5 min.

I find them pretty comfortable... maybe not quite as comfy as stock but I've had an hour and half ride in them and I was just fine....

You finally got a set!! Congrads! I'm glad you find them comfy too, that's a BIG factor in enjoying them. I think I may at one point take mine apart to add a pad or two.
