Well, I wont be there to meet everybody.........seems 3 different levels of bosses have a comprehension problem with the word "no" when it comes to the O/T, so not a chance the car will be roadworthy by the weekend.

Are you able to make it out at all or do you have to work? Many people come who don't have their Fiero on the road. Sometimes we pair up in the cars for the cruise. Just a thought.

I don't think I will be able to spend the whole day. My Grandfather (Dave.E's dad) passed away this morning so I have to go to the visitation and that on Sunday. I will pop in to say hello and chat for a bit.

While you guys are busy playing with Fiero's, I'll be busy building a permanent horse stall which should have been done a month ago. LOL, I am so far behind around here thanks to all the O/T that with a LOT of luck, I might be caught up by November or so.
But its making the new fiero fund look pretty good so I guess it evens out in the end.
Well the weather office is saying there is a chance of showers on Sunday, but I was over to visit Pete today and he reminded me that we've never been rained out, and the BBQ is on rain or shine.
We're still planning the unveiling of the Grand Am/Caddy brake conversion, and with some luck maybe Eclipse will have his Lambo kit.
Sounds like a nice day

I'll be there regardless but we'll see if the fiero shows up... RubyRedFiero's name is Oscar right?
I have something I'm supposed to bring for him, and I need to bring Pete one of his seats back... and I'll bring a spoiler if somebody wants to buy one.... sounds like a full car!

I am happy to see that most of us can make it out. It will be rain or shine so prepare for whatever the day gives us. Us Fiero folk have seen our days of rain so it won't put a damper on our fun. Besides, you don't need sun to talk shop.

Well I was trying to get out of a family event but seems I might not, I am going to try and get back here when its all said and done. I tried, but she did finance my first Fiero so I should listen to my Mom.

The guys were trying hard to make it work, but timing is just not on their side. Chris does want to drop by the BBQ through in case anyne has any questions and hopefully to show of some parts.
Pete, can you pls PM me your house #?

Bumer guys, but I will not be able to make this one due to ^^^^^^^^^ I was really looking forward to showin off my 3800 swap. Anyways Sue and I were thinking of hosting a cruise from the ballpark in London to our new house in just south of Sarnia for a barbecue and hanging out, anyone interested? What about you GTA guys? Maybe sometime in July if there's enough interest. LMK
OOOOOKKKK............After getting smacked on the back of the head by my wife..........we will show up.
Cant stay too long, and wont hang around for the cruise or anything, and will be driving a Dodge minivan <eewww> ;-)--but there ARE a lot of you faceless internet people we would like to meet in person.
(the fiero yard sale is still on for later this summer here, things are just going slower than I had planned. I also have the landlords OK to turn it into a full-blown swap meet, depending on who wants to show up and what they bring and such)

To any GTA members, I'll be at the service station 20min west of Milton around 11am. Anyone wanting to meet up, that's where I'll be. I'll have my FRS radio with set to channel 7, sub 17.

Looking forward to seeing everybody this afternoon. Slavica and I will be popping by for the BBQ but won't be going on the cruise. No Fiero unfortunately.....Mine's getting a freshened up engine and my wife's is still under wraps. Have a Topaz with some cool grand am brake mods in the trunk though....

I have no pics of the BBQ since I was flipping the burgers.
Here is us at our Tim Hortons stop.
Then down to Port Stanly, First beach stop for a strech, and fries.
Next was our stop at Port Bruce, were we dipped our feet in the water and skipped a few rocks.
Then finished the day of at Boston Pizza.
So we had are fill of food, beaches and then food again, was perfect.

Well, here are the skillful fellows in the plot with the new product. RubyRedFiero and DPWood.
I fabbed up some brackets as a prototype to apply '85 Seville calipers to the rear of the Fiero and use the Grand Am vented rotors with a parking brake. I took them to RubyRedFiero who has a whole bunch of engineering skills I don't have, and he told me how bad a job I did on the prototypes and drew up some better and properly spec'd designs on Autocad. DPWood then applied his tool and die skills and fabbed up the finished product.
In the pic we're checking out the Caddy caliper successfully installed on the Grand Am rotor, mounted inside a 14" turbo rim. It all works.
This week, DPW and me will install the first set in my GT and PBJ will check it all out to make sure we're safe and properly installed. If anybody is interested in vented rotors for the rear, with parking brake you can PM DPWood.

Most of my pics are similar to the above except for a couple at the beach.
This is Jay and his boy tossing sand back where it came from.
This was a meeting who's going in first, but it was adjourned without a volunteer. So it ended up in a skipping competition, which Pete landing a seven skipper. Somehow I think he had it boosted and no one seen him doing it. So get practicing people, the next time at the beach we're looking for 8. Otherwise Pete holds the SOFA Skip.
