ok so here are the stats so far:

Hosted by the South Carolina Fiero Club.

We are looking into several cities to host the meet. City options: Columbia, SC/ Myrtle Beach, SC/ Charlotte, SC/ Charleston, SC/ Savannah, GA.

Date: October 28th, 2007 (if we can manage to get enough attendance then maybe even make it a two day event as in October 27-28, 2007.

Please post a reply stating what city is either easiest for you or your preferred city for the meet and if you intend to attend the meet. We hope that this will turn out to be a fairly large meet with a lot of diverse cars and people.

I didn't want my reply to be the obvious one. Myrtle Beach. But given enough lead time, any of the locations are doable for me.

I hope that I can make the meet. I may be back in country by then but who knows. Any of the cited cities would be acceptable but Columbia is the easiest for me. It might also draw some Georgia and North Carolina cars due to relative proximity.

Columbia is probably the best to attract North Carolina and Georgia people.

FYI, The few get togethers I hosted in SC always seemed to do well in Columbia for the NC and GA people who wanted to attend.

I will attend at either Myrtle Beach or Columbia (prefer Columbia)....but at this point I doubt my car will be attending with me (decided to slow down and do it right rather than just get it on the road). If it goes to a 2 day event, I will only be able to attend on Sunday (Saturday is a normal work day for me).

I'm open to options. Not sure if I could go, but Myrtle sounds fine. Savannah is a cool city, though. That would be great for a multi-day weekend meet.

Guys,

I hope that I am back by then but I am currently stuck in Iraq for a while. If I can make it back in time, my Columbia house will be open and you can see disassembled cars as well as a mostly complete project or two.

For me to be able to attend the meet i need to change the date if that is ok. If this will be an inconvenience for anyone then please let me know.

Meet stats:

Date: October 21th, 2007.

Where: Columbia, SC
It will be at a Hooters location. I will post that information before the end of the week.
Time: 11:30 a.m.- whenever

Please confirm that you will be there so that I can get an official count of people that will attend. RSVP just by replying and stating how many cars you will be bringing.

I selected Hooters because they will have the race and football on tv. I told the manager that we will have a possibility of 25 cars so there will be plenty of room.

I'll try and get some of the ETFC members to attend. Just noticed that's the same weekend as the Auburn Fest in Georgia. I guess I won't be there.

That's unfortunate that it falls on the same weekend. May have been more of the Georgia Fiero Club members up there if it had been scheduled for the 28th.

I'm in for Nov. 4. I'm also checking with the Georgia Fiero Club members on our website. When I have a tally, I'll post for you.

There is some possibility that I may be back by 4 November. The easiest Hooters to find is Just off I 26 at Harbison (on ethe same side as Lowes and Applebys.
