You know I figured out what PM was last night and Archie I have a TON and I mean A TON of people here agreeing with my points I made with the kit, but are afraid to post it due to they tell me everyone will gang up on me and use the ratings thing. Well I think that is something Mr. Pennock should investigate since he has seen these threads he can see that people are apparantly already planning on doing that to me. I get that feling anyway.

So what have I learned ? Instead of joining PFF and getting good unbiased information, you come into my threads and either "bless it" with a good response or attack it with your attitude letting everyone know which way YOU would like to see my membership here sway.

I was told in PM:

1) never post your opinion about Archie or his kits because you will get ganged up on and
2) if people just don't like you they can play the ratings thing to get rid of you

I am trying to help people in the tech section so I believe I can be a good assett to this forum, but this is the strangest thing I have experienced in a long time. How people can not like you because you asked for information on a kit that other have had problems with but won't say publically. Are you a threat to people Archie ? Why are people scared of going against you ?

Maybe it's regional but I've seen kids like you come and go with kits, cars, shops, etc. If you came to Houston or Dallas street races with your little rebodies running your mouth the way you do, it would be about 15 minutes before you get your little ass stomped. And they won't care if you heads were "fly cut" either.

Mr. Pennock, I feel like I can contribute to this forum but man you've got some problems here. I'm done with this V8 argument. Archie you will never get another dollar of my money. Your kit is a gimmick with cheap parts. There I've said it. You know it. For your next kit upgrade just throw in the plate with a Summit or Jeg's magazine, make a DVD (welcome to 1997) and don't even offer customer service with your attitude. In fact you shouldn't even own a phone. Now don't ever try to contact me again.

GT you are dead right about PM's. Those who think you are correct are afraid of the Lambasting they will get and there red bar going higher. The same who piss on everyone are doing it again here. You asked a question to Archie and that is all that should have responded "PERIOD". not all those who want to act like there special and can slam you.

My kit works, its setup just like the video instructions with the exception of the motor and tranny mounts. They are solid, but if you read any of the newer build threads Archie has been doing the same thing for a while now. In fact he even posted pictures of his solid mounts.
I think you should have done a little more reading first before all of this got started then you could have based your choice on some well done build threads.
Would I buy one of Archies kits? Yes, I think for the money they are well done. Would I buy from someone else? Sure if they can backup the kit with real world data and not links to Archie installs.
Do I have any of the problems you have?
No my TQ strut works fine, my mounts work fine and my install is about 95% done. I do need to rework the mounts but they work fine the way they are and the motor dosent move around. The cradle has been mounted solid as well and I love the way the car handles. Will it out handle a stock Fiero? Probably not, but after I rebuild the suspension I bet it will be good enough for me and the roads I will be driving on. The alt bracket works just fine on my car, I also dont have AC but for now dont see any reason to change it.

GT Quick you obviously are new to the forum thing. If you have a problem with someone's product you should contact them privately and try to hash things out before airing it out on a public forum. If you don't do this you come out looking like you are attacking this person or their product for no reason.
Having a couple of people agree with a couple of your points doesn't not mean a "ton" of people agree with you.There are those who hate Archie with a passion and they have resorted to numerous usernames to slander him publicly on this forum. You seem to fit this pattern and have been told so, but yet you don't seem to get it. Your social interacting skills are lacking and you wonder why people are rating you negatively. This may be the internet but you are dealing with real people and feelings, not robots. Insult someone and you will be rated accordingly by the one insulted and others who don't like the fact that you did so.
Archie already told you he doesn't want to deal with you anymore and won't be contacting you. You weren't man enough to tell him who you really are. I guess you are afraid he won't sell you any more of his kits if he knows who you are. He may not be the only game in town, when it comes to adapters, but try to get product support or advice from any of the other people who have made copies of his kit. See how much help they can actually or are willing to give you.
You continue to insult the membership here by calling them kids. I bet most of the people who replied in your thread are older than you, maybe even twice as old. Your social skills and lack of knowledge indicates that you are the one who is inmature and a kid. You like to talk big like you know everything. You even had to throw in one last insult to Archie by calling his kit a gimmick, that wasn't a very mature thing to do. If you don't like his kit don't buy it. Buy one of the copy cat kits, but I think you will still run into the same issues you are having.
Many others seemed to have had no problem with their kits from him. You just seem to be the exception to this. You even seemed to be surprised when the membership here went against you. What were you expecting would happen? You won't find any bad vendors on this forum as they too have been banned when they were found out. As for your contributing to this forum, that is dubious at best, especially when you can't even figure out how to install a simple kit like Archie's.
Telling the owner of this forum that he has problems with it is also an insult. This forum works for the thousands of members here already. The only one with a problem is you. Look at your ratings bar as it has finally shown up.
If you want to remain on this forum you better learn how to behave on it or you will be gone in short order.

Mr. Pennock has nothing to do with your ratings bar. You earned it yourself. He also will not do anything to change your ratings as they are provided by the membership. You need to get a clue. The membership here determines who can stay on the forum. If they don't like you, you will be gone. Pissing people off will not gain you any positive ratings. When you accuse a "respected" member of the forum of making a "gimmicky" product you better be ready for some negative votes.

I really need to be a member of this forum if I'm going to build another Fiero. Especially if I decide to go other routes than the V8. I am thinking about Northstar or back to a 60 degree V6. Do those Northstars need a kit ?

The best thing you can do now is lay low for a while. Start a new thread about the other engine swaps you are interested in and don't mention Archie anymore. If you want to stay on this forum you also need to learn how to ask questions without being insulting to the membership. Once you have been here for a while and people get to know the real you, they might change their negative votes to a neutral or positive. Right now you are hanging on by a thread. Pull your foot out of your mouth and watch what you say if you want to remain on this forum. You also don't want to BS people here because there are many who can see through lies about what one really knows about cars and engines.
As for your Northstar question, those engines bolt right up to our trannies. I'm not so sure about engine mounts availability, there might even be a kit for these. There is a wealth of information you can find using the search feature. If you have any other specific questions ask and someone will answer.

I can fairly easily see how many Private Messages people received. I missed the first thread everyone is talking aobut, but if you *only* want a response from him, then a PM would be more appropriate and effective ( if not a phone call, as most others have suggested. He is running a business, and that is the accepted way to contact a vendor if you have questions about his/her product. )
