That IS a nice shot... how come once again your car is leading? I thought that noise might have been something around your SS line... glad it didn't sever and make you lose the brakes.
FYI: I did hear back from John & Galiea Fussel, they had a scheduling conflict with another activity. John warned me a couple months ago that the dates were not looking good, I just forgot. I can't wait to retire (c'mon... 30 years from now... ) so that I have tons of other hobbies to pull my attention away.

...plus some other things they did for me, like a metal bracket to keep the gauge pod from shaking.
The Ruckus is typically the 1st or 2nd weekend of October. I hope that still works for you.
I thought it was just me, but the pod on my Indy shakes. One of the mistakes Pontiac made is that the pod on the 84s is only held by 7 mm fasteners. On the later cars it was 10 mm. Now I know why.
I haven't picked a date, or name or host hotel for the Galveston Ruckus yet, but I will be starting a new thread soon.

So, are you saying one bolt is missing and the other is damaged somehow? How are the threads inside the caliper bridge? I can measure one for you and with those dims you can get replacements from a local bolt house fairly easy, they're not custom bolts I'm pretty sure.
Yes one bolt came out druing ride home from Kerrville. the other bolt is still there, but was backing out.
Wow, I have never heard of a bridge bolt coming out. I usually break the caliper apart when I'm replacing the pads and those things are usually on really tight.

Oh a bridge bolt is the name huh.... Yes it may have been the nut behind the wrench, as to why it came out.
I knew I heard something like a nut / bolt hit under the car on the homeward trip.just out side of San Marcus.
so leroy said he may have one and bring it when he come downs tomorrow. if not I guess I will go to the bolt store for a new one or two.....
We finally made it home last night after a couple day detour through Houston, Galveston, and part of Louisiana. 1,343 miles round trip without mechanical incident, did however lose a sail panel, frame and all, in during a downpour on 45 in Houston then a trim piece testing Orange's top speed down a Louisiana backroad- speedometer wrapped around back to 10mph then the needle started spinning freely).
Had a great time at the event, it's always worth the trip to get to see everyone and their cars but the cruise really made this event stand out- thanks Scott for suggesting the added bit too (I was one of the ones bemoaning the long route originally but the roads truly did win Orange's heart over). Thanks again to Cliff for inviting us to his part of the state. I always want to thank everyone for the trophy- maybe next year I'll really deserve it Also, a thanks on my dad's behalf (Kurt with the black 88 GT), he had a great time, especially on the cruise and at the museum, and really enjoyed meeting everyone and seeing what all they have done to their cars... I think y'all have really inspired him and that he gained an even greater appreciation for his car and Fieros in general.
I have alot of pictures, including some really good cruise shots, that I will post this evening after the camera battery charges.

I actually found a Fiero. I have been thinking about a second car, especially since I am about to put Paws in the shop for a couple of weeks . The one I found is located in Grand Prairie. Currently, I'm trying to find someone there to take a look for me. I really don't want to go that far just to find out that it's not what it seems. It isn't convertible, but it has a sunroof (?) like I've never seen before! It looks real clean and it's supposed to run great.
Yes you guys (and girls) are nut cases. It's been fun visiting with ya'll here and in person in Kerrville.
As for the avatar, I don't see anything. Could be my computer, it's been acting up tonight.
