Giday again
The fuel pressure gauge from the fiero store has arrive here and i have a question .
Its stupid but I have to ask.
I hope some one else also has one of these fiero store fuel pressure gauges.
The gauge comes with two small right angle adaptors, both have either mal or female threads on them.
i want to know, how to you attach this gauge to the motor to see what the fuel pressure is when the engine is running?
It doesn't fit the pressure test valve where the fuel lines enter the pressure relief vavle, thats looks like a car vavle that you depress the middle part to see the fuel pressure .
Anyone have any ideas?

im not sure.. but i think you need to reove the schrader valve in the fuel rail and then it will fit
so then it should sit like seen in this photo

Here's a couple pics of the fuel press gauge that I put on the 38oo SC. It shows a little better ( I hope ) what Rich was trying to show.

Look for that on the stock rail and you should be GTG.

Rich is correct. Remove the center valve portion of the schrader valve. An old fashioned bicycle tire valve cap, the metal ones, have the fitting to remove the schrader valve, WITH THE ENGINE OFF. You may wish to visit your local speed shop and buy a RUSSELL aluminum fitting which swivels so you can set the gauge to face up or back or whatever. It screws right on. Ed

I guess I missed one part of your question before. But you may want to wrap the schrader valve with a small piece of teflon thread tape and install the fittings. And yes, the fuel pressure gauge stays on the engine permanently, no need to ever remove it. Granted you can't read it from the driver's seat but fuel pressure on the 2.8 gives many clues as to what may be both good and bad about the performance of your engine. I believe that on a stock 2.8 the pressure should normally read between 34 and 40 lbs. at idle

I fitted the fuel pressure gauge and now I might see the troubles.
The fuel pressure as son as the motor is when ignition on is 40PSI then when the motor is started is 35PSI .
After it is running and when the throttle repeated the up and down motion.[as in nomal driving] the pressure drops to 23-25 PSI
Leave the car ti idle for 10 to 15 minutes and it raises up to 30 PSI
i am told there is a pressure regulator some where ,it sounds like thats where i should be looking.
Is that right?
This is about this missing or jerking after driivng for a while

one of you guys pulled off the Pulsator valve
Why is it in the car ?
What does it do?
Whats the difference without the pulsator valve to having it ?
Also the exhaust manifolds are starting to glow orange after the fuel pressure starts to drop from 35PSI to under 30PSI

looks youre running lean, could be the regulator not holding pressure but could also be your fuelpump dying...
btw I had a gauge hooked up, needed to remove the schrader valve pintle to make it work.
