actually these are two runs of mine. But i did run against a friends mustang who had a horible start, spun them untill half way through second, and i beat him in everything but the 1/4 mile aswell, well and of course speed.

Soulcrusher, I've taken my Badgermobile to the track four times this summer. Results and temps were as follows: Indy Raceway Park Low 90's Best ET 13.59 sec Cordova Dragway Low 90's Best ET 13.58 sec Byron Speedway Upper 70's Best ET 13.44 sec Cordova Dragway Mid 50's Best ET 12.89 sec and 99 mph. Of course, everything else was right too. During the lunch time shut down, the track was swept, blown off, and treated with stick um. My car sat for about an hour and a half to cool down and I was one of the first cars out on the sticky surface. I've learned that it is going to be essential for me to get some sort of a semi-drag tire so that I will be hooking up better on a consistant basis. So PLEASE UPDATE MY STATS TO REFLECT MY NEW PB TIME OF 12.89 WITH A SPEED OF 99 MPH. Thanks in advance. Badger Bob

Soulcrusher, I too noticed that my speeds were slower than others with similar times. I made eleven passes that day. One of them had a top speed of 101 mph, four had a top of 100 mph, and the rest were mostly 99 mph. At any rate, here are the numbers for my personal best time. R/T.............-.040 (Red lighted) 60'..............1.781 330.............5.167 1/8..............8.077 MPH...........83.94 1000..........10.654 1/4.............12.894 MPH...........99.07 If you see anything here that indicates something I can do to increase the top end, please let me know.

Thanks Don. Pretty proud of my little car at the moment. Even though we ended up with the axles giving out on us, but then again ...after turning Fiero wheels for 20 years thumbs up from me to them. Way to take a beating.

Ran a new PB tonite a 12.38@108mph right off the street, literally. Unfortunately, it was the only run I could get in due to Lildevils problem(see thread). OH< and a new best 60 foot time of 1.699.

w00t! so i FINALLY hit up the track on its second last weekend of being open up here in Toronto....+12 deg. C outside or so....so traction was a lil iffy. i got to try out m/t ET streets...they were decent, but still hard to hook...plus i have to learn how to launch with streetslicks over regular street performance tires.
update for me please.
i ran an 11.97 @ 117mph with a CRAP 60ft' of 1.91 sec. (the guys there were saying if i got my 60 ft. down to 1.6-1.8 , my 1/4 mile would turned out much nicer)

What drag radial are you running and on what size wheel? I need to order some in the near future and wanted to know what other people are running.
drag radilas are the best mod you can do if your serious about racing and are making enough power that traction is becoming a problem. I am using a set I got from Don Kraus. They are BFG comp TA. Mounted on a set of old GT rims . 235 50/R15 is the size. IF you do decide to use them be prepare from some axle or tranny failures though. Not saying it'll happen but be prepared for it. I lost a axle after 20-30 launches on them.

i know how harsh it is when yer running such times....and the toll it takes on our cars.
i also have slicks....the street ET's though, new ones from M/T. they help nicely i guess, but i havent been able to put them to real use yet since i got htem in fall/winter of 2005 lol. they are 235/60/15 mounted on GT mesh rims too.
i cant wait for warm weather to get them to stick (mind u the turbo wont like hte warm weather as much) so it will be interesting to see if there is any major time change....im also hoping for an 11.5 to 11.7 sec 1/4 mile. hm, are there any other Fiero's in Canada as fast??? does anybody know?

Way to go Earl,I knew you could do it.Those smaller diameter tires were just what you needed for your gear ratio,of course it took some power too,but you had that.Keep it coming, our track doesn't open until April !.I'll be going to the Daytona show before that, then I'll go to the strip when I get home.

Ive run 12.2@110 on street tires, haven't made a full pass on the ET street Drag Radials yet, same size as you've got. Lifted the front tires and snapped an axle on the first run I tried with them.
Troy Richie from Red Deer ran a mid 11 383 with nitrous, but is sure it could run 10's, track was really slick that night.
Tony Almeida ran 12.4 with his series 1 3800 SC.

There are 2 cars locally that I want to see hit the track but I am not sure if either ever will.
The first being a 383 SBC that was engine dynoed at 425+ hp and 450+ lbs of torque then mated to a 4spd and installed.
The second being a 3800SC car with smaller pulley, custom exhaust, nitrous and a 4spd auto.
The owners of the 2 above cars really just have them for fun. If they ever do get out to a track you bet bottom doller I will be there with video camera in hand.
