well, my best time was a 15.729 at 78.15 mph i really dont know what was up with the mph for the run, ill have to take a look at the video later to see what happened.
anyways the car is an 86 se, 4 spd 2.8 which is to the best of my knowledge stock just running on 93 octane.
the brake down of the run was;
rt .537 (track still uses .500 as a perfect light so its not bad) 60 ft 2.188 594 ft 9.512 1/8 et 10.128 at 72.98 mph 1/4 et 15.729 at 78.15
ill work on getting the timeslip up tomarow if anyone wants to see it, but the run was made at lapeer dragway in michigan and all runs were made racing my brothers srt-4.
rt .714 (track still uses .500 as a perfect light) 60 ft 2.228 594 ft 9.506 1/8 et 10.127 at 72.47 mph 1/4 et 15.751 at 85.90
This is killing me. Why was my stock Fiero soo much slower than everybody elses even though i got kick ass 60' times? Oh well, that motor is blown and hopefully here soon i will have a 3.4 in it. Here are my two best times
Just came back from Cordova Raceway in Cordova Illinois. They had a Buick, Olds, and Pontiac Day. The weather was ideal (cool and high pressure) and I ran a personal best. Here's my time slip. 1985 NB (2002 SC3800II auto, 3.4 pulley)

my best is a 15.504 at 87.004 mph. 2.104 60' 86 GT 4spd, ported exhaust manifolds, custom sound system. 2750lbs, on tranny number 2 (1st one rebuilt twice before shooting the diff spider gears throug the case) i guess the four speed doesnt take kindly to repeated hard launches and speed shifting.

I finally got to the track and ran my car for the first time. I ran a 12.8 thruout the day in full street trim down to 3/4 tank of gas and wore out street tires. Will post the time slip once I get it scanned.

You can put a "*" besides my listing "3.8T" as "RETIRED" ... as the car has been parted out and sold. I gaveth life, and I taketh away lol. (Funny part was the car was a mid 11 if anything...just never got it to hook up all the way )
I have a nice collection of pics of my old ride if anyone wanted....high to low res, in action and parked. Oh and also some 1/4 mile vids too of the 11 run's. (Need the right samsung drivers to watch it on windows media player tho)

Cheers!

Well finally I can post a time. 13.5 but I didn't really know what I was doing so I feel I can get more out of the car. It's a 3800sc with 5 speed, 3.4 pulley, wcf headers, 3inch intake, 1.9 rockers and that was on 265/35/18 street tires. And worst of all 2inch stock fiero exaust. I think now I know what I'm doing so when it gets a little cooler down here I'll lay down a better time.
That's my best 1/4 mile time. Mods: 3800sc/4t65e-HD with a 2.93FD ported blower and lower intake 3.25"pulley northstar throttle body cold air intake 1.84:1 roller rockers ZZP shortstack intercooler 3" exhaust w/ZZP powerlog
That's my best 1/4 mile time. Mods: 3800sc/4t65e-HD with a 2.93FD ported blower and lower intake 3.4"pulley cold air intake 3" exhaust w/Dremel port mani's

I just went drag racing for the first time. My car is an '87 SE with a modded 2.8 (bore/stroke, cam, Trueleo headers), and a Getrag 5-speed. According to the scale at the track, my car weighs 2680 lb with a full tank of fuel.
Note: This was my very first time at a Drag Strip, so I've got some training to do...but I'm happy with the results! I had three runs, and this was my best and last run. It was about 66 degrees and about 8:30pm this past Friday. Edge Water Park Raceway just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio.
R/T: .539 (the Thunderbird had a .233 R/T) 60: 1.895 ( I finally got on the side where the 60 ft worked!) 330: 5.442 1/8: 8.336 @ 84.80 mph 1000: 10.829 1/4: 12.961 @ 105.53 mph
Nearly 6 days later, and my voice is still hoarse from yelling and laughing so hard that I was able to break into the 12's at my first time at the track, with crappy R/Ts and having to feather my launches! (The car automatically shuts down if I spin the tires at launch) More details about my runs at https://www.fiero.nl/forum/F...2/HTML/086013-9.html
Based on the 1/4 times, the calculators I've plugged the data into put the car at 272 HP at the wheels, and about 354 HP at the flywheel. This is consistent with the last Dyno reading Ryan at Sinister Performance tested on the car. With a bit more experience, and fixing the wheel spin issue (HP Tuners), there's no reason I shouldn't be able to get into the mid 12's on this car.

Wow, I find it funny Ryans last two swaps (yours and mine) were two totally different swaps and we ran almost exactly the same times and mph's.

and mine is just a BIT faster muhahahahah
Times look great! I would have to say that unless you had launching issues severe enough to keep you out of the gas completely for first gear, your times will not get much faster, because the trap speeds really tell you that you are going to be limited from going much faster. A better "dig" will get a better 1/4 time, but I dont think it will be enough for true mid 12's.
I cant let ryan beat me with a stock motor swap anyway

Ohhhh Ryan!!!!!
Let's get at it! If I can get a R/T time down below .3 and launch this baby with sticky hot tires...it's not worth 1/2 second?
