We need to get Hank (aka Henry) on this post. I can't recall what his time was against his '03 Cobra but I know it was fast!

BTW - my 85GT is a 4spd....:-)

Thanks Bill!

Congrats to tina! Man, with all of these seriously fast Fieros I am surprised that I am still clinging to the top 10! Anyway, excellent job to all of you and thanks for sharing your 1/4 mile time with us. I think Cliff should set up a dedicated 1/4 mile "bulletin board" page like what ClubGP has on their site. Again, congrats to all who are not too modest nor proud to share their times with the rest of us.

Just to let everyone know I do my times on the engine,I don't use NOS or anything else. When I buildt the car I wanted to be as fast on the street as on the dragstrip and I've done that.I also wanted it to get at least 25 miles per gal.and it does that.So I'm not afraid of running against anyone because I know I'll win a lot more than I lose.My 60' times run as low as 1.568 and My best MPH is 115.97.It's just a heck of a lot of fun to own and drive it.It's also a lot of fun being around the Fiero people like at the 20TH.

Ran a new PB this Friday nite. Not much of an improvement though...12.44 @ 108mph. I would have a 12.3 for sure but running on street tires is making it near impossible to get it there. Only 4 more days of racing left for the year to try and get it there. Probably going with drag radials next year. What are the top cars running as far as tires are concerned?

Lildevil,I use the BF Goodrich drag radials 26 inches tall,I did use 24 inch tall but I thought going taller would help keep the front down.It help's and it gives me a faster top end,I use 3:69 gears.

BFG drag radials are ok, but I have found some drag radials that blow the BFG's away. The Nitto Extreme Drag Radials outperform the BFG's by a mile and then some, for about the same price too.

I ran BFG T/A street radials 245X50X16, have never put anything with more grip on it. Now that the trans internals have be hardened, and posi unit installed, it would handle better rubber, spins the T/A's pretty easy.

My fastesst run is 16.52 @ 86 mph. Havent taken it back since I stripped the interior. My shifter cables are streached to the limit. Any more and I wont be able to shift. Next year I will go back with new cables and try again.

Out of curiousity... Can you add another bit of info to the list? (Fastback, Notchback, or Kit *for Don )

At least there would be three winners for fastest in class.

P.S. Strictly to be ended at that. No bragging rights to the fastest Fiero with rear defrost!

Thanks,
Greg

Tony,
Aren't you using a 455 BOP? Are all the dimensions of your block the same as the small block chevy? Sorry if I made the wrong assumption. I thought the BOP block was longer than the SBC. Is it a bored/stroked sbc?

How about the fastest convertible Fiero??

Although I believe there is a faster convertible Fiero lurking out there, I have gone 13.7 @ 101 MPH in the Northstar powered convertible GT.

Stock '95 N* with stock 4T80-E tranny and big 18" wheels. I believe I can get down to the low 13's with smaller wheels (with drag radials) and a better lauch technique than what I used at the 20th show.

I'll have to wait until the spring to try and beat my best time though.

Sure do.
Every since the WOW show in april of this year have I been running around with a full bottle.
Problem is, just don't have the nerve pressing that darn button.
Still plaeqed (sp) with visions ala "Fast and Furios" of my car undoing itself if I do.
Did I mention I really love my car.

Don,

If i am not mistaken, only ONE car in the top 5 made their best runs using Nitrous. CaliKid is NA, as is Tinas. FieroX never used Nitrous to achieve his time. So i am not sure what the reason for your post is. I used alky on my car but its NOT a power adder. Unless you want to consider your intercooler a power adder. The Alky kit cools the intake charge jus like a intercooler.

That being said...am i the only car in the top five that achieved my time on STREET tires? Not drag radials or slicks...street tires. I think Cali may have, and i am not too sure about Tina. Guys Chime in if you get the chance.
